I picked this hotel due to how lovely it looked and as it was a solo trip, i felt it looked a small enough hotel that wouldn't be overwhelmingly busy.
Firstly, i would like to compliment the staff, particularly the waiters and waitresses, who were all very friendly and didn't stop during the whole meal services.
The whole of the downstairs area of the hotel i.e. the reception, dining area and bar were all beautiful and very aesthetic.
The location of the hotel is great, a short walk from the beach, the old town busy shopping area and the bars. It's also a 2 minute walk from the main bus station, where you can take a bus from Lloret to Barcelona.
I booked the hotel due to it's reviews about the amazing food, sadly, although there was many choices, the food wasn't to my taste and there wasn't much i enjoyed. However, there was always something for everyone and this could be due to my own food preferences.
There were lots of others on solo trips, which i really liked as a solo trip around lots of groups can sometimes be a little daunting, it was nice to see that others had also chosen the hotel for a solo trip.
I found the room i was allocated (414) disappointing, especially compared to the photos online - the room was very bare with a wet room style bathroom. The tiles on both the floor and the walls had seen better days and i didn't particularly like the wet room style. The sink was tiny and meant i was soaking myself when i tried to wash my face in it. There wasn't anywhere to get ready on an evening, i.e a desk with a mirror and the only mirror was in the bathroom, which wasn't ideal when it was steamed up due to taking a shower. I felt there wasn't much space for storage and had to get ready on the bed as the furniture on the balcony wasn't comfy and was also rather tatty. The balcony itself was large, but there wasn't a view - i appreciate due to the location, this isn't the hotels fault and feel many hotels in Lloret would be the same. The room i stayed in also backed onto the lift and i could hear it constantly during the night, the walls seemed very thin and i could hear everything, from people being loud in the corridor to the person next door using the shower.
Overall, i feel my stay at the 15th Boutique Hotel was average and if i were to revisit Lloret in the future, i wouldn't choose to stay here.Show More
