Great location, very friendly staff, good sized room and comfortable. Convenient for all attractions and a good stay overall. The bed is comfortable and fabulous standard of housekeeping. Breakfast...Great location, very friendly staff, good sized room and comfortable. Convenient for all attractions and a good stay overall. The bed is comfortable and fabulous standard of housekeeping. Breakfast is the same buffet every day, not extensive, but nice and the staff are super friendly, attentive, cleaning tables regularly and topping up items as supply got low on the buffet. Coffee machine made a decent morning brew and nice view of the gondolas. Several small balconies nice too, off the breakfast room. Very helpful staff at the reception. Lifts are typically European small, so servicing each floor can be a bit slow, but there is a staircase, ok if you're not hauling suitcases! Note the bathroom we had was quite large: bench/sink, toilet, bidet and small shower cubicle. I'm quite short/small, husband tall but slim and the shower is good. The small cubicle, while exceptionally clean and good water supply/pressure, could be a challenge for anyone on the larger size. There's a nice bar behind the reception area which opens onto the street/laneway and also the canal, good seating, drinks slightly higher priced than many other places. For such a central and convenient location, this is a great Venice hotel.Show More
