Let’s just say it was the best way to get night credits and get value for your buck. As for the hotel itself, the “executive lounge” is not a lounge, but a nice outdoor area to relax. Breakfast was decent for an Aloft, food at 21 Rajah was better than expected too. I didn’t have to pay for it, but saw a few promos which seemed to provide great value for a seafood buffet (or rather a buffet with a decent seafood range). The rooms were rather small (it’s Singapore after all) but well renovated, maintained and cleaned. Didn’t really have much encounters with the staff beyond the restaurant and check in, but they were all friendly and professional. It didn’t feel as hip as other Alofts, but it would be a good thing for some travellers. Plus it’s directly connected to a random mall. Not the best mall, but it’s better than nothing. And the shuttle to Novena was convenient. This would likely be my top choice (edging beyond the Four Points) as the place to stay at if I need to chalk up night creditsShow More

The dining options are limited - no room service, the breakfast quite limited and otherwise focused on Chinese food. No international food. The breakfast buffet itself closes at 10am which is relatively early. I called the reception on the second day and was told “last order at 9:30am”. What last order? It’s a buffet and there is nothing on order basis. The housekeeping ok but not focused on details. After these relatively minor issues, on the checkout date I received a call at 12:30pm asking if I had extended my stay. I mentioned that I had requested and received late checkout 2pm but apparently it was not done. I had also asked my access card be programmed accordingly and it was confirmed done. But apparently not. So small things which you don’t expect to highlight at a Marriott Hotel.Show More

Staff were amazing and it was a nice, clean and functional facility on par with what one would expect from an Aloft. The food, both for the conference and in the on site restaurant, was fantastic. Great quality and variety and again staff were great here. Location is a bit far away from the city but multiple bus stops and routes make getting out pretty easy. Special shoutout to Izwan and Jamie from the event staff. They were literally everywhere, from table and amenity setup to meal service to tidying up during the breaks. Literally all day. They truly showed they cared about each attendees experience and I hope they can be recognized for their efforts.Show More
