As long as you're not picky about cleanliness, noisy air con, lopsided tables or really really low beds, its fine. Dont expect much and you'll be fine. The oldest window a/c (in the wall) was SO noisy, we turned it on and then left because if we had it on while we were in there we couldn't talk it was so loud!
The bed had no box spring, just a frame with slats and a mattress that almost came up to my knees, and Im 5 foot 3. It felt slanted towards the head of the bed too, so we slept the other way around.
There was dust and random hair on the bathroom heater, at least a few different kinds, the little plastic basket holding the toiletries was dusty and had hair in it. There was also hair in the tub that definitely was there before us....it was long and pink, so easy to notice. The bathroom window wasn't closed properly, it almost couldn't be, I did it, but it took some work!
There was a glade plug in in the main room that was so overwhelmingly strong you had to wonder what it was covering.
There was a table with a microwave that looked like it was going to topple over if you touched it, so we didn't even try.
Its right across the rod from mcdonalds and behind the grocery store, so I guess that's OK, at least we could get a decent coffee in the morning!
Im not staying here again, probably not staying in Hope again, just keep going, Chilliwack and Kamloops aren't that far and there are way better places to stay in either of those places.Show More
