The location was excellent, with convenient access to all the places we wanted to visit. The view was fantastic, and there were plenty of nearby options for both Uber rides and walking.

The location and valet was great. We arrived for check in at 330 and was told to wait to the side and wait for a manager. Michael the manager approached And I asked what the problem was he just said Hyatt sold the hotel so the reservation was canceled and he pulled up our reservation on his tablet and then walked away with no other explanation leaving me and other guests in the lobby confused on what to do.
We got back in line and sam at the front desk proceeded to help us. She was kind, helpful and understood our frustration.

7/10 Nice clean hotel with nice staff but the noise and bed comfort left a lot to be desired.

8/10 We enjoyed the hotel and loved the location to restaurants, the beach, and the neighborhood.
We had a very nice large room. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing. The location of the hotel was perfect. We love the Gold Coast Area.

Lobby is beautiful. Room was awesome. Great sitting area. Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Black out curtains were an excellent amenity as the windows are wonderful but they would let in a lot of light, disturbing sleep. Oat milk for coffee was much appreciated. Wish more hotels would offer.

1/10 Horrible.
Got charged an extra 1700 dollars for no reason. Then got told my valet would be free from Micheal the manager. After checking out and home the hotel then decides to charge me another 240 dollars. Awful place to stay.

7/10 A decent stay. The lobby was beautiful and the staff was friendly. Room needed to be updated.
Room was clean. Staff was quite friendly. The food at the bar was good and the bartender gave excellent service. Lots of hot water available in the bathroom.

10/10 When I checked out, I promised to return when work calls me back to Chicago.
The location is perfect. It is quiet but closes to the Loop. The room was large and spacious and very clean. An iron and ironing board were available. The desk officer when I was checking in was welcoming and professional.

Wonderful location. Great staff. 98 year old building with lots of charm and history. Room was big and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was very good. Stayed for 9 days and would go back.

9/10 Worked out perfectly for my visit. Friendly and helpful staff. They also arranged for my taxi to ORD
Loved that I got a corner room. Sometimes I feel claustrophobic in hotel rooms. Also liked that I could control the room temperature. Room was very quiet. I slept like I was at home.

7/10 I would go back but I usually go in non peak season times so it's not so expensive.
The beds and linens were great. The location is excellent. The staff at the hotel and in the restaurant and bar were friendly and helpful.

The Ambassador’s location is amazingly convenient, 5 minute walk to dozens of restaurants, bars, bakeries, parks, Old Town and of course the lake. Very convenient valet parking. Extremely comfortable bed and friendly food and beverage services.
