The whole minibar is complimentary (with your own Nespresso machine), free drinks are offered on arrival, departure, and every day between 5 and 6pm. The area where drinks are offered has shared sofas, and it creates a convivial atmosphere that encourages conversations among guests. The whole place feels sophisticate AND welcoming like no other five-star hotel I have visited. Internally connected to the hotel there are a pub, and a bar with kitchen where I had a memorable cheese cake and enjoyed great music played by a Brasilian DJ (they have different guest DJs depending on the night).Show More

I was out until 3 AM meeting friends for drinks and came back to the hotel expecting a relaxing evening of sleep. The hotel alarm clock was set by perhaps a prior guest or housekeeping and woke me up just a few hours later. As it was now daylight, I was unable to go back to sleep and the entire next day was ruined. As it is 2025 and essentially nobody relies on hotel alarm clocks and it's so easy for them to be set without your knowledge, I don't understand why a hotel would even have this as a standard feature.Show More

They are genuinely friendly, positive, and clearly incredible at their jobs, ensuring everyone starts their day right. A particular shoutout goes to Ali, who is simply excellent. The DJ was brilliant - however - the bar was too light and there wasn't really anywhere to get up and dance. It lacked the party vibe atmosphere that it is trying to achieve. The food was ok - nothing spectacular. We had to constantly ask for jugs of water and top up of drinks - if the restaurant had been at full capacity I would have understood but they were not rushed off their feet and we got the impression the staff couldn't really be bothered. Such a shame as we were looking forward to this. We would not rush back.Show More
