We forgot that we had gotten a room with a terrace, so that was a nice surprise. It was roomy and clean, and we ate breakfast outside every morning, which was very nice. And it was such a nice change to have breakfast brought up to our room. I had not anticipated that and my 3 year old LOVED it. I really liked that were were able to choose what we wanted for breakfast and what time we wanted it. Definitely the stand-out feature of this hotel. The room was spacious as well, with a living area, dining area with kitchenette, and bedroom section.Show More

Everything you need for preparing simple meals and drinks in the kitchen (microwave, kettle, hob- crockery, pans and cutlery etc) . Even had tooth paste and tooth brush and a razor in the bathroom. It was near Tibidabo and away from the touristy area so local bars, bakeries and shops were much cheaper. Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet at night. I didn't use the pool on the end but it looked good!Show More

It's not far to walk to the metro and a straightforward journey of around 15 mins into the main parts of the city. We were fine travelling with suitcases etc on the metro from Barcelona Sants to here. We also walked to Park Guell from here, but if you don't like steep hills (it's a down then steep up) would recommend you use public transport or a taxi. It's in a relatively quiet suburb of the city which suited us. The twin bed apartment was clean and had plenty of room. It was very useful having a basic kitchen as it meant we could self cater and easily eat in, take lunch out with us etc as at this point in our holiday we needed to save a bit on the costs of eating out. There were quite a few shops in the surrounding streets so it was straightforward to do some food shopping. We appreciated being able to cool down with a swim in the small rooftop pool after a day out too. We seemed to be the only ones who used it while we were staying!Show More
