The Lobby It’s modern and it’s big and there are plenty of staff at reception, but it’s always noisy - especially at night when the music is blaring and party goers are enjoying themselves. Not as decorative or as interesting as some of the other hotels. The Casino Directly adjoins the lobby. Apart from decor, it looks the same as all the other hotel casinos. I had no idea you’d be allowed to smoke in all of the casinos in Vegas. The Pool There are several pools of varying sizes on Level 2 of the building. There seemed to be plenty of sunbeds, (a little too close together for my liking) and not enough umbrellas. Overall, it’s a nicely designed area that I found quite relaxing. The Restaurants We only had breakfast at the hotel as our room rate gave us a daily $100 credit to spend on food and drink. $100 doesn’t go far in Vegas and it will buy you a simple breakfast for 2. On check out, we were told it doesn’t cover tips. Something they failed to mention on check-in. We ate twice in Salt & Ivy and the food served wasn’t great. I’d advise you to reserve a table as the walk-in queue was long every day from 9am. We also ate in Egghead in the food hall. It sells several variants of what looks like a McDonalds breakfast sandwich, but with a higher price. I found the food to be too salty. You can eat in or takeaway there. I felt the restaurant options in the hotel were limited and some mentioned on the Aria website we never even saw, but there was work being carried out when we visited so it looks like more are being added. The Room We stayed in the cheapest room option. A deluxe on the 25th floor which had mountain views. The room was spacious and had ample wardrobe, drawer and desk space. The bathroom had 2 sinks, a great walk in shower and a bathtub and a separate WC. The room provides large bottles of shampoo, shower gel and moisturiser, a powerful hairdryer, dressing gowns, an ironing board and iron and a safe. Surprisingly, you’re not supplied with any slippers. I’d have thought this was a given for this standard of hotel. This was particularly annoying, as when we checked in, the toilet floor had numerous hairs all over it and it made me question the cleanliness of the entire room. I’d also mention that the lid of the toilet cistern was half off when we arrived and the fancy tablet that controls the lights and curtains wasn’t working properly and had to be reset by a maintenance guy. There’s a mini bar in the room full of drinks, but if you move anything you get charged. You’re not able to use the fridge for your own purchases unless you pay the hotel $50. There’s a free ice machine on every floor and we filled our ice bucket up daily. We enjoyed our stay. The beds are comfy, the staff are friendly and the location is good. A monorail runs between the Bellagio, the Aria (Crystals shopping mall) and the Park MGM. If you can find it, use it! It’s very handy. I’d certainly consider revisiting this hotel if I find myself returning to Vegas.Show More

Arrived at the hotel around 9pm and checked in, wasn’t a very welcoming experience. Asked for glasses to be delivered to our room, was advised they would arrive within 30 mins. 24hrs later no glasses. The next day Reception was extremely busy with queues so took the initiative to ask a bartender for glasses, was told he didn’t have enough for himself!!! Manage to catch the eye of one of the front desk managers whilst waiting to be seen, she kindly arranged for a fridge to be delivered to our room with glasses. Please note, a delivery of any kind including glasses, drinks, any food will all incur a delivery charge. In our room, (we are well travelled) there are no cups, no coffee making facilities, no wine glasses, no vanity kit, no sanitary bags, no shower cap, it’s extremely basic in terms of their amenities. They then charge you a daily service charge and taxes which some of that is for the WiFi costs according to their website yet any one off the street can walk in at anytime and access their WiFi free of charge. Our room was only serviced three times during the 7 days we were there. One of those times I had to walk along corridor to find a cleaner as no one was coming. On our penultimate day before checkout our room wasn’t serviced again, we arrived back to our room at 22:45 to find our carpet was flooded. Also the room lights were no longer working. Facilities were called and responded in 20mins. Around 23:15 we were told that we would need to move rooms, we were shattered ahead of checking out next day and decided to stay put, using bath sheets to soak up the water. The leak was coming from air conditioning unit next door. As the electric wasn’t working our bedroom curtains had to be closed manually by the facility employee. Lights were eventually restored centrally and remotely. I compiled an email that evening expecting a call first thing to check if we were ok, absolutely nothing. I complained at the desk on checkout but to be honest I am not confident it will make a difference. It is such a busy hotel, and not somewhere I would visit again. Vegas is a great and surreal place, the Canyon, mesmerising, unfortunately this hotel falls short of the basic service and amenities. Nearby restaurants and service were excellent, however.Show More

The Hotel is very nice and has great slot machines which we like to play. The Mexican restaurant Javiers is first class food and very good. The food court has a variety of different food. We like Egg head for a breakfast sandwich that offers a gluten free bun for my wife. Temaki Bar has great sushi. The hotel has a high end mall Crystals if you are into shopping. The Hotel is close to other hotels like the Cosmopolitan. Jason Aldeans bar in grille is between Aria and Cosmo. Great live country bands playing on both levels. I think you will love it if you go and the rooms were very nice. I would recommend getting a MGM players card and using it while playing slots. You earn insane comps. I am not a high roller and this past trip I got 4 nights comped, $185 free play and $100 resort credit. So I just paid the daily resort fee. If your a high roller you will get the resort fee comped eventually after going and using the players card for your next trip. That is how I finally got to stay at the Aria because of the comps. I was staying at the Caesars hotels because of the comps they gave me before. But the MGM rewards seem to be way better. The rooms we stayed in were really nice and comfy with great showers and bathroom with great views. Enjoy..Show More

This issue caused us to have to stay 1 additional night. We couldn't stay in the same room type, so I purchase two standard rooms. The front desk said they would bring the keys for the new room and help move luggage to the new room. Somehow their wires got crossed, and someone lied on me saying I told them I am not going to leave the room -as I am waiting for new room keys. Sydney Cervantes the manager treated us very badly. Security Noel and Jacob also. Lamiousha Dixon treated us badly also. As I was carrying my sick 6 year old child out of the hotel because they evicted us, I was harassed and followed down the hotel driveway -I walked from the 23rd floor, through the lobby, carrying a sick child and through the exit of the actual hotel and security continued walking behind me threating to call the police and have me arrested because I stopped (outside of the hotel) to put on my daughter's shoes. This is the worst experiencing ive ever had. We were treated terribly. We stayed in room 23049.Show More
