Went to visit family. We have stayed at the hotel before. Overall the location is great for our purposes. We were given the room as requested, king size bed at the back of the hotel. The staff are all...Went to visit family. We have stayed at the hotel before. Overall the location is great for our purposes. We were given the room as requested, king size bed at the back of the hotel. The staff are all very friendly & accommodating, from the front desk to the breakfast buffet & housekeeping. The full hot breakfast included is a real plus. This stay, the heating unit did not work for two of the three days of the stay. Got a little cool at night. We advised the staff on our check out day. The only negative was the shuttle was not available to get to the Waterfont Station with not much of an explanation & no alternative provided. We had to arrange a ride at our own cost. Other than that, the hotel is a great value.show more

I felt it was not worth the nightly cost, and parking was additional at $21/night. The bathroom was much smaller than I anticipated, the room too. The balcony is unusable in the fall/winter as the rain just makes it completely soaked. I'm not bothered about a lower temperature and being outside, but it is completely drenched when raining even though there is a roof. Paying more for a balcony room during that time was stupid. And it's just a view of the busy road in front so really a waste. Would have preferred to stay a little farther out to spend much less, have free parking, and just transit in where needed.show more

We checked in and were put in a handicapped suite that smelt musty and strong of old cologne. We called front desk to ask for a new room as we weren’t really wanting to use a sit down shower and they told us we booked that suite (not true) nowhere on our reservation says handicapped room and that they can’t change our room because they are fully booked. We looked online and could book a room that night through their website so I’m pretty sure they just lied to us. Overall for the price it’s alright but we didn’t appreciate being lied to and it felt like they just didn’t want to help us out.show more
