I feel this was the ...We made a two day stop in Madrid on our way home and chose to stay at the Barcelo Torre de Madrid since we have stayed at other Barcelo hotels and have always been very satisfied. I feel this was the best Barcelo by far. The location places you within walking distance of several top sites for visitors, such as the Plaza Mayor, Plaza del Sol, Temple of Debod, Royal Palace, and others. The view from our room was wonderful, looking down the Gran Via. We were greeted the moment we entered the building and were treated like VIPs. The valet brought us water while we checked in and had our bags to our room before we made it up there ourselves. Our room was beautiful decorated and designed well for comfort. It was quite spacious. The beds and pillows were very comfortable as well. They offer a buffet breakfast in a spacious dining room that has many varied options and everything was fresh. I will definitely stay at Barceló Torre de Madrid again on my next visit.Show More

We stayed in Room 335 on the 3rd floor. The soundproofing was not enough for a restful 2-night stay. The noises from the nearby club as well as loud people hanging around in the square were significan...We stayed in Room 335 on the 3rd floor. The soundproofing was not enough for a restful 2-night stay. The noises from the nearby club as well as loud people hanging around in the square were significantly and consistently heard through the closed window. Even worse, the bass from the club music was generating resonations through the walls of the room. We addressed this issue immediately to the front desk but the only assistance we received was an offer to upgrade the room to a higher category one at 50 Euros per night. No other potential solutions were suggested. As our understanding is that the City mandates all hospitality businesses to ensure restful environment for all customers, we are considering a filing a formal complaint to the appropriate City of Madrid authority. Also, a simple request for an extra bottle of water via calling the front desk nor the use of the advertised Barcelo app was not met. It was resolved only when I personally asked a housekeeper in the hallway for one.Show More

The door man, reception, house cleaners, and a special shout out to the Morning buffet group. The hostess always had a smile and a welcome greeting. By the second day she knew who we were and what room we were in. The food selection of this buffet was the best of any hotel I've ever been in. When making a room reservation we requested a room not on the street side, and that is what we got. I expected the street side rooms with a view to be noisy, what I found was street noise in Madrid is actually pretty quite for a large city. Our room had only a view of the office across the alley, but they gave us what we asked for. Bathroom had beautiful tile work and fixtures. Location for the metro could not of been better, I mean across the street. Quiet as I never heard anybody in the hallways or rooms next door.Show More

We loved our room, so comfortable and a stunning view. The care and attention to detail at Barcelo Torrre de Madrid is second to none, we received a call checking we were happy with our room, which was filled with everything we needed and more. The spa is a lovely place to relax after a day exploring the city. The staff will give you amazing recommendations and are so kind, happy and friendly. We enjoyed our room service immensely and breakfast the next day was the best, so much choice! We cant wait to come back. A faultless stay.Show More
