The Beaconsfield Inn is an impressive Victorian house situated on a corner plot, an easy walk from the small harbour in Victoria (10-13mins). It had a large car park and beautiful well kept gardens. ...The Beaconsfield Inn is an impressive Victorian house situated on a corner plot, an easy walk from the small harbour in Victoria (10-13mins). It had a large car park and beautiful well kept gardens. We were allocated the "Gatekeeper" Room, a family room on the ground floor. It was large with French doors leading to a small yard outside where there was a table and chairs. It meant that you didn't have to carry cases upstairs. We just used one of the beds which we found to be large and very comfortable.. The history of the house was available in the hallway outside our room. Our room was clean and in keeping with the age of the house , albeit the decor and furnishings were a little tired. The breakfast room, the peacock room was beautiful with the stained glass and furnishings. It had a lovely view of the gardens and maple trees. This matched the breakfast which was first class, well presented, very tasty and excellent serviceShow More

Amazing! Such a warm welcome they made our birthday stay extra special! Rooms traditional, comfortable and well equipped. Location was a little out of town but easy walk in. We had a lovely stay. The property is beautiful it was like stepping back in time. Staff are amazing can’t do enough for you. Your stay here includes breakfast we are vegetarian and also do not eat eg...We had a lovely stay. The property is beautiful it was like stepping back in time. Staff are amazing can’t do enough for you. Your stay here includes breakfast we are vegetarian and also do not eat eggs this was accommodated for with no issues. We were also leaving before breakfast time on our final day so they arranged for a to go breakfast for us which was so nice of them. I had also left my coat in the room on check out and they kindly arranged for this to be posted to family in Toronto where we would later be visiting. If we ever return to Victoria I won’t hesitate to book again. Show More
