Stayed here for one night while waiting for a next day train. I would not recommend more than one night at most. The bathroom was clean but bedding had hair in the sheets. The bathroom was clean but bedding had hair in the sheets. The rooms were hot but safety is a concern when opening the windows due to scaffolding covering the side of the building. Work on the scaffolding started at 7 am, people were right outside the window. The windows in the bathroom were frosted, but not enough. If I could clearly make out the forms of the people working on the scaffolding they could clearly make out my form using the bathroom and shower, which is deeply concerning. The gym is also paid - 7 euro an hour. For a four star hotel, I would expect amenities such as the gym to be included. The highlight of staying here was the bar down the road called Friends. Not affiliated with the hotel but very good. This hotel is certainly not a four star hotel/experience. On my stay I came from a different four star hotel in another city to this one and the difference was night and day. If you’re staying here, lower your expectations. Best for an overnight stay only.show more

Staff were friendly and everything worked out well. The room was nice, not fancy but perfect for what was a good price. Someone previously mentioned the TV hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the room, but it was right at the edge of the bottom of the bed, so it was not in a place where you would bump your head, and frankly it seemed to me it was either there, or no TV at all. The room had a desk, which was nice and the bathroom was well equipped and good, other than no hair conditioner. Breakfast was just okay, not bad, not great, but convenient. My only issue was that the batteries on the remote were dead, and I had to request new ones. Oddly this happens to me in about 50% of all hotels I stay at, even 5 star. Would it kill the maids to test them every few years? Anyway, great hotel for a short stay especially if you are by yourself. I would stay again.show more
