I had to really debate what rating to give because there were good things but then there was bad. We were upgraded to a jacuzzi suite on the 7th floor in the tower which was great. The first thing we...I had to really debate what rating to give because there were good things but then there was bad. We were upgraded to a jacuzzi suite on the 7th floor in the tower which was great. The first thing we noticed when we got off the elevator was a plunger outside of a room across from us and didn’t think much of it until it was still there on day 2 and three. By day three someone loved it near the elevator and we moved it in front of the maintenance room so it wasn’t so unsightly for us or other guests. Housekeeping would have went by it many times yet it still sat. Our room itself was decent. It was over all clean, comfortable beds and pillows. The carpets were quite stained which could easily have been removed with a carpet cleaner. The windows are floor to ceiling which is wonderful for light during the day except the windows are dirty. The worst was the door going to the patio which looked like some hand prints and things spilled all over. Again something housekeeping should have seen and cleaned. The other thing in our room that wasn’t working or shall I say was gone is a system at the door that you must press to say no housekeeping, privacy etc. this was gone so we had no way to say no housekeeping etc. The pool area was nice and clean, towels weren’t stocked when we got there but someone did come in and fill them up at some point. The outside area near the pool has plenty of loungers as well. There is a bbq for guests to use and you can get bbq tools from the front desk. We didn’t use it but did see other guest. A couple of days after our arrival my in-laws came to town and we suggested this hotel so they booked. Unfortunately they were not treated well at all at guest services. The young lady with glasses (didn’t get her name) was rude and belittling to them (seniors). This isn’t leave a great impression and now seeing other reviews of poor customer service I wonder if it’s the same person. Breakfast was decent with a large variety of items. Eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes, yogurts, cereals, fruit, pastries etc.Show More

After being turned away by two completely sold out chain hotels in the area, the Best Western Plus Kelowna was able to accommodate us. We weren't expecting much so were really pleased to find a huge, clean room with comfortable beds, nice towels and toiletries and not one dysfunctional tap, lamp, socket, shower curtain etc. The last minute price was reasonable and the included breakfast was surprisingly good with real food and lots of choice. We especially liked our balcony overlooking the garden which was the respite we needed at the end of a challenging day.Show More

We've tried many others, but none are as pleasant, accommodating, clean and comfortable. And the staff, especially Nancy at the front desk, are friendly and helpful. Coming to the Best Western is like coming home for us. We have to make frequent trips to Kelowna for medical appointments and appreciate that special rates are offered for that purpose. The free coffee offered in the lobby is very much appreciated, and the breakfast buffet is good. There are gluten free options available, and the breakfast room staff will make gluten free toast in a dedicated gluten free toaster upon request.Show More
