We have been wowed over and over during our stay. From the initial contact with the exceptional service provided by Lisa Young, to get a feel for what we would like to plan, to the customer service approach of the bellmen, and the check-in desk. They seemed to be anticipating our arrival, even at 9:00 PM at night! We felt housekeeping did just the right amount, even though we declined service a few days. With us staying almost a week, we used the M Lounge almost daily for breakfast. Solid offerings, lattes and espressos, as well as fresh honeycomb was great. Dave and Janice in the M Lounge knew us by face and seemed to enjoy their jobs. They were warm, smiling and welcoming each day. Please thank them for us! Even if it's not every day, some of the other Marriott locations we have been to will offer omelets and eggs to order within the Club Lounge. This would be a welcomed upgrade from the standard buffet, but is certainly not a deal breaker for the experience or the price. I do think the commercial lobster boat experience that Lisa set up with Two Bouys Lobster Tours was the highlight! Frank & Tim were friendly, welcoming, educational and funny! Marc and Finn were also extremely professional and a great contact to have. Again, please extend our most sincere thanks for their efforts. In the days where renting a condo in a city is an alternative to a hotel, people often forget the benefits that come with a team of staff at a lovely hotel like the Boston Marriott Long Wharf. The meeting was a great success, and the hotel was ideal for the event. The location can’t be beat, and the rooms were clean and well- appointed. Most importantly though, the staff was incredible. It began with Meg Garruto in the sales office, who bent over backwards to accommodate our group. She was responsive to our needs, friendly and on top of every detail. A huge shoutout also goes to Lisa Young, the hotel concierge who was incredible. Lisa is the best asset to the hotel. She is energetic, professional, and has a large network of contacts in the tourism network around Boston. She helped us with a group boat cruise, arranging transportation for our group for a museum tour, and countless other valuable suggestions to make our event memorable. The outside activities ran smoothly because Lisa went the extra mile to follow up on every detail. I do hope that the hotel management realizes the prize they have in Lisa at the concierge desk! We were very impressed with all the staff we encountered over the weekend- from the doorman, to the front desk, to the housekeepers, to the restaurant staff. Each one of them was friendly, efficient and professional. Hats off to the Marriott Long Wharf- I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to host a meeting in Boston!Show More

Apparently they give preference to some guests to stay until check-in time. Paying 700 a night, one would figure the would insure what was promised would be delivered. In fact, it wasn’t ready for 30 minutes after that and we were forced to miss our dinner as we were not up to dress code. They said they would take money off the daily rate and they didn’t. They also charge you a destination fee and tell you they will credit 25 a day if room service or the restaurant is used, they didn’t apply it. They are very sketchy with charges and billing. Given how much I paid and we missed plans due to their inability to deliver what was paid for and promised, as well as not receiving the promised discounts, I would advise potential guests to go elsewhere. You don’t get these issues at four seasons Show More
