Tak...Pobyt w hotelu wspominamy bardzo dobrze. Pierwszy raz ( a jeździmy po świecie od ponad 30 lat) spotkaliśmy się z tak wyjątkową troską o gości! Recepcjonista Juan oddawał gościom całe swoje serce ! Także jego koleżanka Emilia bardzo troszczyła się o gości i udzielała rad dotyczących pobytu w Madrycie. Śniadania bardzo urozmaicone ( lokalne hiszpańskie potrawy, jogurty w kilku smakach, orzechy, migdały, kefiry, szampan i wino, omlety, jajecznica i jajka sadzone przygotowywane przez kucharza, ciasta). Po południu pokojówka przynosiła nam czekoladki i pytała czy niczego nam nie brakuje ( herbaty, kawy, wody). Cały czas czuliśmy zainteresowane ze strony personelu hotelu. Hotel jest rewelacyjne położony - przy ul. Atocha ( mimo tego w pokoju jest cicho - oprócz podwójnych okien, były jeszcze dodatkowe - z mini balkonu), kilkanaście minut do dworca kolejowego Atocha i Plaza Mayor, w pobliżu także stacja metra. Hotel jest niewielki - ma tylko 80 pokoi. Pokój i łazienka były duże , gustownie urządzone i ogrzewane, co było bardzo ważne, gdyż na początku listopada w Madrycie było rano kilka stopni, a w czasie dnia padał deszcz i było milo wrócić do ciepłego pokoju.Show More

We had planned to stay here only for the first 3 days of our trip, with the inten...We expected this hotel to be a cookie-cutter, generic, unremarkable place, à la Hyatt or Marriott. Quite the contrary! We had planned to stay here only for the first 3 days of our trip, with the intention of switching to another hotel for the last 3 days; instead, we cancelled the alternative hotel and reserved a room at Catalonia Plaza Mayor for our last 3 days, which speaks to how very satisifed we were with our experience. Our room was lovely, clean, and well-equipped, the staff was kind and accommodating, and the room service (which we used every morning for excellent cappuccino!) was flawless. Our room overlooked a lovely inner courtyard, and even with the window open, we had peace and quiet. IMG_2322.jpeg The location could not be better: close to numerous good and unpretentious restaurants (and superb gelato!), and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. All this for a relatively reasonable price (Madrid is expensive!) As we fell in love with Madrid, we hope to return, and if we do so, we hope to stay here again.Show More

Exceptionally clean and neat, with a wonderful breakfast offering something for everyone, including a dedicated gluten-free section. The hotel is suitable for business travellers, couples, and solo visitors exploring Madrid for pleasure. From the very moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. The staff are truly outstanding. I had the pleasure of interacting with Veronica, David, Isabel, Cesar, Estrella, and Mihaela, and each of them showed nothing but sincere kindness and professionalism. Also to mention all the waiting staff during breakfast. They were so on the top of their job, meeting perfectly the needs of all of us. Am not a morning person so I did not verbally much interact with them, but I was observing. I am thankful very much to them. The beds are spacious and comfortable, and the toiletries provided are of high-end quality. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Madrid and look forward to returning on my next visit.Show More
