My first time staying here and we chose it cause it's connected to CentralWorld. Huge entrance but the check-in lobby is at Level 23. Got a Family Premium Room thinking it's a 2 bedroom layout but when we got in, then we realized it's just 1 room with 2 queen beds. The bathroom area is huge though, with a large dressing / wardrobe area before the basins, toilet, bathtub and standing shower. But for a family of 3 adults and 3 kids, one toilet/shower is challenging.
Turns out the room type we should have gotten is the Executive Room. Anyway it was too late to even make an onsite upgrade as they were fully booked for the category. Thankfully we were just here for a night.
The beds are pretty high here for the average Asian and a little too soft for my liking. Location wise, while it sounds ideal to be connected to CentralWorld, it's actually a very big mall, and the connection is closer the Zone F side where the cinema is (which is the opposite end of the mall that connects to BigC and BTS). So I'm not sure this connection is truly a value add, or rather this should not be the only reason to choose this hotel.
Service is impeccable, from the bell boys taking over our luggage at the driveway to the front desk staff to housekeeping and the restaurant staff. Our stay also came with Welcome Drinks at their bar - Uno Mas (for those with kids) and Red Sky (rooftop bar for adults only).
The pool is not very big, can't do proper lap swims but good enough for kids to play around. I also like their service app, where you can request for additional amenities directly, order in room dining and even chat with the staff for any other requests. I did dread the thought of downloading another app but the convenience after makes it worthwhile.

10/10 Great experience at Club Lounge 51 level.
It was our first time staying at Centara Grand Hotel and we stayed in the executive suite room. We went to the Club Lounge at 51 level every day, for breakfast, high tea and post dinner service as well. We were served by the team, Muk, Chi, Len, Patt, Fah, Bank and Bam. They took care of our needs and accommodated us really well. Always checking in on us and even asking if there is anything they can improve on. We felt so welcome and comfortable here with their warm hospitality, and will be back here again for our next trip.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, nice pool, very clean room and a spacious bathroom with a great walk in shower. This is a very good place to stay in Bangkok, close to the Skytrain and near good shopping and many excellent restaurants

Always staying here and never disappointed! First class hotel and service adjacent to the great CentraWorld mall! So convenient! The rooms are large and nicely designed, very comfortable. The swiming pool and spa are fantastic and the swiming pool stuff are so very nice and service aware.

Very well located with direct access to Central World shopping centre and relatively short walk to Chit Lom BTS. The views from the room are wonderful and the pool, facilities and restaurants are excellent. Super friendly and efficient staff. Thoroughly recommended.

Stay was wonderful at Centara Grand. Our room is at the club floor and they have whole day complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea a cocktails and late night snacks at the Club Lounge. Service is top notch! very nice staff Thank you Chi, Len, Pat, Bank, Noey Fah and Am. Thank you!

The check in process was smooth. This trip was a surprise for my hub birthday. Told hotel to help prepare a small cake. Cake was prepared without any surcharge. Hub was very pleased with the stay in this hotel, and said is his must to stay in near future if he ever back to bkk for short trip.

2nd time visit. Khun Patt and Khun Dear were so helpful. They helped our daughter with her food and play. The staff was joyful and welcoming. Great services from The Club Lounge at 51st Floor. The floor manager was also smiling and offering all the help we need.

It had everything! It was our anniversary and the hotel made it special with flowers, wine, chocolates and complimentary drinks in their sky bar. The pool area was really nice and the restaurants and bars were amazing and the staff very attentive and friendly :)
