The location is very convenient, just next door to the station with a shaded walkway & direct lift down to the subway. It is 10 mins by train from Yokohama Station, a short 5-10 min walk from the main harbour & 10-15 min walk to Starbucks/Chinatown area. We made a request for a high floor but after booking, they informed us that this category only has 2nd-6th floor & no guarantees were given. On checking in, we were given the lowest floor (2nd) due to long stays booked in advance. Our room was directly facing the busy cross intersection & being the 2nd floor, we could hear the beeping of the pedestrian crossing & loud traffic. As the Yokohama hospital is just down the road, we were also awoken by loud sirens at odd hours of the night. If you are a light sleeper, i’d recommend booking the 1 bedroom harbour view (facing the sea instead). Due to the noise, the staff were very kind & gave us a free breakfast voucher at the cafe next door (simple western/japanese buffet style that was the same everyday, coffee was fantastic). The room was great, with a sofa bed setup for a child in the hall. Table/chairs/cutleries were enough for only 2 pax. Washer/dryer was in english and very easy to use. Love the wonderful Balmuda oven & kettle. The toilet was a little small but had a bathtub. Overall, the room was in a rather odd shape - the bedroom & walk in closet being a triangular shape. A nespresso machine with caramel/hazelnut/vanilla syrup & different variations of tea is available all day at the reception. There is also a guest lounge at the 7th floor with microwave/ice/coffee/tea facilities for friends to relax and unwind. The bakery next door serves very good doughnuts. There is also luggage forwarding service available at the reception directly.Show More

The location was awesome with a train station right below us. The buffet breakfast was pretty good, although very repetitive with the exact same buffet options everyday. The staff were all lovely and very friendly. The beds however were as hard as a board. We asked if they had any mattress toppers but I don't think they fully understood what we wanted. They did come and put a blanket between the mattress and the sheet, which, although it really didn't help at all, we appreciated the effort and the fact that they tried.Show More

The room was very large with a separate area for tea making etc and the bed was super big and comfy, one of the best of our two week tour. A big plus was we that you could access the bed from both sides which was a rare thing in our experience of beds for couples during our tour. Recommended.Show More

Show More
