9.2(2615)10/10 An absolute winner for those who want value, size and comfort in a great spot.
We loved this hotel. Massive rooms by Japanese standards, beautifully renovated historic building, and within easy walking distance (a few minutes) of all the action, without feeling like we were walking out into chaos every time we left the hotel. We also loved the little food court connected to the hotel, which made a great meeting place for friends and family travelling with us before heading out to do things. We will definitely be back for a more thorough Osaka adventure, and will se staying at the Citadines again, as it was one of the highlights of a month long Japanese trip.

8/10 Nice, convenient, family friendly stay
The location was close to the market and not far from namba station, a bit of a walk from dotonbori, but it was convenient to many things. The room was clean and nice but there was no fan in the bayhroom and a bit of a constant mildew smell in there. We loved the playroom for our toddler. Did not like the breakfast, wouldn’t recommend purchasing as there are many places nearby to get food and coffee.
Staff were kind and helpful, but I was put off that when we arrived exhausted with a fussy toddler they said the room was available early but then said I had to sign up for their rewards program which involved a several step online process.

The room stayed was Deluxe, hence the size was much bigger than most rooms in other hotels. Very cozy & comfortable room with an affordable price. Beds was very comfy. Within walkable distance from Namba station & Dotonbori area. Hotel located near all the Osaka City Center attractions. Lovely hotel, will consider for future bookings in Osaka!

An amazing place to stay. A very beautiful building, with a refined and elegant design. The room was incredibly spacious, comfortable and impeccably clean. Lots of amenities in the room, with very nice touches like filtered coffee. It was nice to have a couch and a big coffee table in the room. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The location is fantastic, at a walking distance from Namba and Dotonbouri and right in the middle of the Nipponbashi area. It's one of the best places I have ever stayed at.

Citadines Namba is a fantastic place to stay—conveniently located close to the train station, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable, and everything about the stay was perfect in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and service. The only downside is the price—it’s on the expensive side, like most hotels in Japan, but the quality justifies the cost.

10/10 Central hotel with large rooms and helpful staff.
The hotel was in a very good location, close to the station and Namba area of Osaka. The rooms are large and have en-suite facilities. The reception desk is manned and we were able to leave our bags if we arrived before check in. We had the buffet breakfast at the hotel one morning and there was a lot of choice, the food was fresh and tasty. I used the laundry facilities, which were busy, but handy as we were mid travels.

Location is walking distance from Namba train station.
Located close to sights and shopping. Rooms good size and well laid out, sitting area and bar at foyer are very comfortable. Breakfast area is well presented and varied. Coffee machine in foyer has good strong coffee all day available . Very helpful and friendly staff everywhere .

2/10 Terrible air conditioning not working in the room.
The air conditioning is not working so please don’t stay here. We had a massive issue and the manager just said sorry and said he couldn’t do anything about it. We should have been informed about the situation. Why are we paying so much if we do not get the facilities we paid for. 2 out of the 4 nights the air conditioning was not working. I would like a refund of attest 1 night stay back.

10/10 A warm, seamless, and comfortable stay that truly felt like a home away from home.
Everything! The location was perfect — close to Dotonbori and train lines, yet peaceful. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. What stood out most was the incredibly helpful staff. They went the extra mile with transport advice and even assisted with our luggage. A comfortable and welcoming stay all around!

Gorgeous position to reach Bic Camera、Dōtonbori、Nipponbashi and huge shopping malls. Not really far from Tennoji Station that leads to Kansai Airport. Offering free water at the public lounge of every floor was pretty helpful to tourists. And even after check-out, we can still temporarily put luggage at lobby. What a outstanding service of counter staffs.

We loved our family stay here!
Three nights was perfect. Our 1.5yr old adored the kids play room and it was the perfect quiet place to burn some energy after being in the Pram for hours.
The breakfast buffet was great and convenient.
Great location to walk everywhere central with unlimited food options.

The location is perfect—just a short walk from major attractions, yet quiet and peaceful. The room was bright, spotless, and spacious enough for my son and me to each have our own private space. I had an incredibly comfortable night’s sleep.

Amazing hotel: the staff is so friendly and ready to help you, the rooms have everything we needed and everything was neat and clean. It's location is perfect: well connected and in the center of the city. Next time we'll be in Osaka we'll surely be back

We got the twin one bedroom and the room was very nice and the amenities were good. Super appreciated the in room washing machine and the nice size. Bed was comfy and room was quiet. No complaints from me. I would usually be quite picky with these things but it was a good stay.

Breakfast spread was not much, had 3 mornings of breakfast there and the spread was the same. Would be better if they offer more variety.

Perfect location - walkable to multiple train stations so getting around was so easy! Also walkable to Dotonbori and Shinsekai. The room was very spacious, quiet and clean. We even got a free upgrade which was nice!

10/10 Great First Step into Japan!
This was my first stop on my first trip to Japan, I booked it due to location relative to attractions and the train station, previous reviews, and room size, since I didn't know quite what I'd be getting into and I didn't want to take any chances. I think it was an excellent choice, I immediately felt comfortable and at home. The staff had excellent English, and were able to accommodate all my requests. I had assumed the location was good based on my research and I'm glad to confirm that this was true once I arrived. It was easy to get to from Namba station, and it was ideally located to explore this part of Osaka and of course it was easy to travel elsewhere via the transit system. Amenities were convenient and very high quality. The price was quite reasonable, I would stay at this hotel again with no hesitation and Osaka is an amazing city!

10/10 Good location away from crowds
A very good location for us: near a superb local market, as well as the Dotonbori area, yet far enough to get a break from tourist crowds.
The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly/helpful. We appreciated their efforts for environmental sustainability.
Slightly on the down side, as the room faced the main road, and perhaps depending on the floor level, one could easily hear motor vehicles -> wear earplugs before going to bed, if needed.

Good hotel in the center of Osaka.
The staff was very gentle and helpful, but the bat thing was in the breakfast.
The restaurant is kind dark and there were not so many options to choose from the buffet.
In therms of drinks, only 2 juices and a not wide selection of occidental dishes.
But the room is very good and clean, but the bathroom was also very small.

Located an easy walk from Namba station, close and yet not quite in the hustle and bustle of the shopping areas nearby. Rooms are clean, room cleaning attentive and thoughtful.
Front desk were ever helpful and ready to assist with reservations for dinner.
