You made our stay so special and wonderful!!! The property is amazing, the breakfast was delicious and the egg/omelette maker NAILED it!! SOOOOO yummy!!! The Bellmen, Ruben, Oscar and Dennis went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed, including getting us cabs, giving us great recommendations, holding our luggage, opening our doors, pouring us Cava and always greeting us with friendly smiles!! Special thanks to the sweet girls, Lluna and Ornella that spoiled us with the most amazing room and a bottle of Cava and delicious Chocolates!! AMAZING!!! Alvin Theodore at breakfast was also over the top and so kind and was so attentive to anything we might need!! To all the other staff including the concierges, cleaning crew and rooftop servers, THANK YOU!!! You made our stay one we will always remember and cherish!! We stay at a lot of Hotels, and this one tops the charts!! We will never stay anywhere else if we are lucky enough to travel to Barcelona again!! You guys are the BEST!! Our 5 days in Barcelona was really spoilt by the terrible service in Hotel Claris. We asked in advance for 2 rooms next to each other so we were close to our teenage kids, with one being a twin. The...Our 5 days in Barcelona was really spoilt by the terrible service in Hotel Claris. We asked in advance for 2 rooms next to each other so we were close to our teenage kids, with one being a twin. They gave us 2 doubles. One room had faulty sound proofing so the traffic noise was very intrusive. They moved us to a very small inferior room, with not even a mirror in the bedroom, hardly what you expect from a 5 star hotel. They charged €2.50 to bring a small jug of milk up to our room for tea. They forgot to give us vouchers for the spa on check in and generally didn't care that we weren't happy despite two conversations with the reception manager. Even aside from the terrible service the decor and quality of the rooms was really disappointing. The beds however were comfortable at least. Our whole trip was impacted by this hotel which left us feeling really disappointed. There are plenty of other great hotels in Barcelona so I would give this one a miss.Show More

The welcome drink and sweets, the free daily mini bar drinks, chocolates at night, hair straighteners, great toiletries, to name a few things. The roof top pool is a great place to relax after a long day sightseeing seeing. The roof top bar is lovely too. The service was excellent from all the staff, especially from Carina on reception and Eric, the concierge. They went above and beyond to make our anniversary stay extra special. They were very helpful and friendly. They made our stay, by welcoming us every morning or night and helping us with restaurant recommendations and places to visit etc. They were outstanding. The breakfast staff were also very welcoming and helpful too. Infact every staff member we dealt with was helpful and friendly, from the cleaners to the front desk to the doormen. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Just one thing to note if you are a light sleeper, you can hear the traffic in the rooms facing the road, We had to move rooms as we couldn't sleep. This hotel and staff are exceptional. We definitely recommend staying here!Show More
