We...All staff at Concorde whom we encountered was very helpful, polite and professional. We were happy with the hospitality we received. We arrived early in the morning and requested early check in. We were accommodated with our requested which was highly appreciated. Location wise, it is superb. Walking distance to MRT and shopping centers. The room was spacious, however, it was very dated and required some good updating...I have a feeling our room was at the old part of Concorde. The furnishing was old and tired. Fortunately, the room did not smell old, which was a great relief. The room was clean and the housekeeping did a good job. Lighting was very poor. The bed was NOT comfortable at all - we found it somewhat hot (non breathable mattress) which maybe due to the material of the mattress - latex(?). The window was not sound proof - every night (we were there for 3 nights) we could hear vehicles horning, and car engines revving on the street below us. As our room was on the "4th floor" (no- 4th floor is NOT 4 level above, it was literally only one floor above the ground), the noise level from the street was audible.
The room rate was the best on Orchard Road which we could find - maybe that was the reason.
So maybe if we have a different/ better room, our stay there would be 10/10.Show More
