Great rooms (we got the 1 bedroom suite, truly impressive), great food options (though it could use another coffee shop/bakery), and great vibes, slightly removed from the craziness of the center strip but close enough to still be walkable. That being said I was sorely disappointed by the SERVICE and cleanliness and not sure i would come back. The majority of the encounters I had with front desk staff were really negative. Always made to feel like I was bothering them with the slightest of questions. Always answered with a scowl. I booked a strip view room and was given a room that technically had a strip view, but was on such a low floor that all i saw was the wall of the casino in front of me. The front desk said that this is standard and that they were fully booked, so couldn't give me another room (which I highly doubt, vegas is empty). I also had to fight for my hotels.com VIP access room credit, which they didn't know about. In the room: safe wouldn't open and the sofa bed wasn't made as I had requested. I called a few times over a long period to get this resolved and on the 5th call they finally came (for the sofa only). Cleanliness: the room overall appeared to be cleaned, but once we started looking it wasn't. We found a previous guest's hairband on the floor of the closet out in the open, and pumpkin seeds on the couch, along with corners and some areas of floors needing a good vacuum/mop. Honestly not sure I'll returnShow More

Upon arrival I was greeted kindly and told happy birthday as it was my birthday. We were given a room card, to our suprise it was two queen beds, we didn’t unpack our bags and went straight downstairs to reception to ask to have our room changed. We were told the hotel oversells its rooms upto 110% our room was sold out, come back tomorrow as early as possible to see if any available. We did just that, however, too add it says you will have robes in the room, you do not. Nevertheless we went downstairs at 8 am to be told there is no rooms, come back at 10 am, then told to come back at 12 which we did again and wasted four hours of our first day to be told no again. Furthermore, we were told to come back at 4 o’clock and we said we cannot hang around at the hotel any longer. It is our first time in Vegas and we were here to celebrate my birthday on our seven night trip. We asked if they could put a note on our booking if any rooms became available that we could get one we were told no and that we had to ask ourselves. We arrived back later on and asked about changing the room. They stood by that they were sold out. However, upon checking on their website, it was still available to book. I called them on the phone again. Told no,offered a $50 dining voucher nothing more could be done. I was really upset. I called again, told to cut my story short then we were given our room. This July, I stayed at the Conrad twice (7–9 nights each) and my experience was beyond disappointing. Overbooking Scam: Despite having a confirmed reservation, I was told at check-in that the hotel had overbooked itself and my entire stay was being moved to the Hilton next door. For this major disruption, they offered me a laughable $15 food & beverage credit. Only after pushing back did a manager begrudgingly waive two nights of resort fees and promise to move me back the following day. The “solution” created chaos and confusion, with my reservation mishandled a second time upon return. Safety Concerns: While dining at Wally’s Wines, I witnessed someone steal a large tip from a nearby table. Although I reported it to security, the process was disorganized and unsympathetic. For a resort of this scale and revenue, the lack of security and seriousness around theft was shocking. I left feeling unsafe on the property. Fraudulent Charges: After checkout, I found an $81 minibar charge I never made. When I called to dispute it, I was told nothing could be done and I should “dispute it with my bank.” This is unprofessional and borders on fraud. With Las Vegas tourism already on the decline, one would think hotels would go out of their way to keep their few loyal guests happy. Instead, the Conrad has done the opposite. Poor service, unsafe environment, dishonest charges, and insultingShow More
