We had a small issue early on, but it was resolved promptly the next morning with such care and professionalism that it truly set the tone for the rest of our stay. The General Manager, David, personally came to speak with us and ensured everything was handled smoothly, a level of attention we’ve never encountered at other 5 star NYC hotels before.
We originally chose the Conrad for its ideal proximity to the ferry terminal, as we needed a quick connection for a holiday dinner in New Jersey. But the hotel quickly proved to be far more than just a convenient location.
Breakfast each morning was excellent, and both room service and the restaurant team delivered consistently high-quality service. Carlos is an exceptional member of the breakfast staff, warm, attentive, and dedicated. And Gabe is exactly the kind of person every luxury hotel hopes to have as a first point on contact; friendly, hardworking, and always willing to go above and beyond, whether assisting with luggage, helping at the door, or offering support with a smile.
Travelling with teenage kids, we found the connecting king and double suite to be the perfect setup. The rooms were spotless and extremely comfortable with fantastic beds that made it easy to relax.
