Breakfast wasn't anything out of the ordinary food that hotels typically provide, unlike some of the other hotels on our trip in Australia - which provided Asian dishes such as Shrimp and Pork dumplings, congee, Miso soup, etc. Unusual in that you couldn't just get your coffee from a ready-made pot, but had to wait for someone to make a cup for you. We had dinner also at the hotel. I had the Barramundi fish, too salty a crispy skin, tomatoes seem to have tough skins. The dining room is unusually noisy and it was difficult to hear the person next to you talk, as the acoustics are terrible. There is no electrical outlet near either of the 2 beds - very inconvenient in needing a much longer extension cord across the room. Also, when using the electrical power convertor, if you aren't careful, pushing the plug in can turn off the power due to the placement of the On/Off plug - very poor design.Show More

Did the designer of this hotel ever stay here? The light switches are so fancy they are not easy to use. So two of us share a room. One goes to bed. You have to turn all the lights off, then turn back...Did the designer of this hotel ever stay here? The light switches are so fancy they are not easy to use. So two of us share a room. One goes to bed. You have to turn all the lights off, then turn back on the bed light. The lights are blue buttons, at the head of your bed, shining in your face. Had to hang a towel over the lamp to cover the blue light buttons. No coffee, just espresso. Closet door must be closed just so to get the lights out. No electric plug in the bathroom. Cardboard hangers, so you can’t hang wet clothes on them. It’s like the designer was trying to show off his pretentious aspirations rather than thinking of the comfort of the guests. On the good side, the curtains really darken the room. The tea is excellent.Show More

Very pleased with that service as well. Hotel 10 minutes from Airport. Breakfast was great as well, juices, cereals, fruit, Hot servings of bacon, eggs, waffles, etc. very plentiful. We were on the 10th floor. Suite has everything you need. Coffee, tea etc to make your own. Shower was brilliant, we had a square one that come from the ceiling. It was gorgeous, plus you could push a button and have a hand held as well. Very quiet.Show More
