The water pressure was extremely strong in a good way. It’s very convenient to walk to Wanchai or Causeway Bay. We spent two weeks at the Dorsett as a family of three. The hotel has great amenities - we regularly used the gym and onsite laundry facilities. The hotel’s location between Wan Chai and Causeway ba...We spent two weeks at the Dorsett as a family of three. The hotel has great amenities - we regularly used the gym and onsite laundry facilities. The hotel’s location between Wan Chai and Causeway bay MTR stations, as well as the tram and bus connections outside, made it very easy to get back and forth to the city. And the hotel also offers a very convenient shuttle bus too (though we missed the last bus to the hotel from Central Station at 6pm on our arrival from the airport) The rooms were very comfortable with a great view. However for three adults it became a little cramped with two double beds and little room to store our belongings except for a small wardrobe. The space that the room does offer has been utilized well. We also found the rush for breakfast meant we’d have to wait for several lifts before one was clear to take us down from the 6th floor. Nevertheless, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and were efficient in dealing with room service, cleaning, gym and concierge enquiries. They were a delight to deal with and would escalate issues to more senior members of the team if they weren’t immediately able to deal with the issue. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dorsett and would happily stay here again on our next visit to Hong Kong.Show More

I had an incident on the first night where a bartender yelled at me this sitting in the hotel lobby on one of the sofas near the bar without buying a drink. I explained that I was a guest of the hotel but he proceeded to very rudely complain to me that "paying customers" weren't able to sit because of me. In order to keep the peace, I moved to another seat farther away from the bar, but was quite upset. However, Alice Cho, one of the managers, was very nice and listened to my complaint with empathy and professionalism. She quickly assured me that the bartender was out of line and even offered complimentary drinks to make up for the incident, which she delivered. Her handling of the situation was very impressive. She understands how to deliver good customer service. I would come back, despite the experience with the bartender, because of Alice.Show More
