I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I could not modify/extend my reservation so I needed to make 2 reservations back to back. The first issue is when I checked into my room at midnight after a ...I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I could not modify/extend my reservation so I needed to make 2 reservations back to back. The first issue is when I checked into my room at midnight after a long drive to Vegas, the room was dirty! Then I was placed in a clean room. I confirmed with the front desk at check in that I could stay in the same room for my whole stay. I even went to the front desk the following morning to confirm I could stay in the same room through my extended reservation. Both times told yes. To my surprise I was meted with housekeeping at 7:30pm telling me I needed to check out and she was very rude. I went down stairs to front desk to clear up the matter. The front desk girl was not apologetic, in fact she asked me if I payed for the second reservation. She told me she would send a message to housekeeping and write a note in my reservation and I was good to go back to my room. When I tried to return to my room I was met with two security guards and had to stand in the hallway and be questioned as they cleared this up. One of the security guards showed me some kindness after I started crying and he was the only one that ended up apologizing to me. It overall was a terrible experience and I did not feel safe traveling here as a young woman. Terrible communication my hotel staff.Show More

Tania checked us out upon arrival. I was frustrated about an issue that affected my disability and I explained that I was extremely upset. Tania was professional and immediately de escalated the situation. I was impressed by her ability to keep a smile on her face and accommodate me I can’t explain how much it meant to me for her to turn the situation around and make me leave the front desk excited about my stay. The hotel is clean and modern and offers all the amenities you need like any of the big resorts plenty of restaurants in the area some of them owned by the downtown grand and I was able to charge things to my room the casino floor offered plenty of options for gambling with a bar and close proximity. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and accommodating for every need. I know I love this hotel and would highly recommend it to my friends and family thanks again Tania; a first impression can sometimes make or break a short visit to a hotel and you “made my stay”.Show More

We stayed at the Grand Hotel. That was the best decision we made for our trip. The Hotel is so clean and the rooms were great. The pool was the nicest and there’s plenty of room and nice furniture. Every person came in contact with were the nicest we’ve ever seen in Vegas. This was the most relaxing g vacation we’ve ever had. There are so many things to do and see. Everything is within walking distance. The Grand Hotel has several package deals that are well worth it. We really loved that we didn’t have to constantly take Ubers to get somewhere. We walked everyday with no issues. Checking in was quick and the same when checking out. Hotel staff always smiling and helpful. We are already planning another trip and will definitely stay at the Grand. We highly recommend staying there. We did take a Uber to the strip and we were happy to return to the Grand! If you're not using valet the garage across the street is free if you book a room, you will collect a ticket once you pull into the garage and then walk into the hotel when you take the ticket to the front counter, they will give you a parking pass in exchange for the rest of your stay. Secondly, the Hotel check-in staff was amazing especially Gregory. He was very sweet kind insured. We had the best view for the room we chose with our booking. We also received credit for a coffee and bagel and or sandwich depending from the café right next to the hotel lobby check-in it's lava coffee, which is amazing. The hotel itself is smoke free. They do offer some really great meal deals. We saw signs for. Our room was clean and modern as is the rest of the hotel along with an amazing rooftop pool. I do recommend getting rooms closer to the mob museum near the pool instead of near Fremont Street as you could hear the music throughout the night other than that a flawless stay.Show More
