When we were shown to our room the door was wrapped like a present with a big red bow, balloons inside , a delicious piece of Opera cake and a personalized card waiting to welcome us. Wonderful surprise to start our 4 nights in Paris! Very comfortable room & bathroom with a refreshing shower and bath products I wish I could get in the back in the states. We had a balcony we could step out and see the Opera Palais Garnier on one end of the street and the Louvre on the other all within a short walk. Lovely shops & bistros just outside the doors make it just so easy even after a long day of sightseeing. There’s a little private bar area off the main lobby open from morning to night. Everyone was so pleasant and accommodating throughout our trip. The one thing that needs attention & is such a simple fix , is to replace the carpet in the elevator. Would love to go back though & highly recommend this Boutique hotel! Thank you all for taking such good care of us! Eileen KoenShow More

The room was very small, very poorly lit, and claustrophobic. The closet space was pretty good, but the dresser was just a night table in the closet. The decor left much to be desired. It was dingy and old, A good part of the 325 sq ft. of the room was hallway. The balcony was tiny with no space for even a chair. I request a balcony wherever I stay to be able to sit outside and enjoy the scenery, (I usually pay extra for that), but all I could do was stand in the very shallow space. It was more of a Juliette balcony, than an actual one. The bathroom was newly renovated and lovely. If the room was half as nice, it would have been great. The location was good, but there was always trash in an overflowing city garbage bin which was awful.Show More

Renoud, concierge, was wonderful. I spoke to him before we arrived and he arrange tickets to Musee d.orsay and Eurostar to London before we arrived. It goes downhill from here. Our room and bathroom were tiny. lobby was being renovated. In the past when renovations are going on in a hotel, I have been given a lower rate for the inconvenience and told in advance of the renovation. Buffet breakfast was 3 stars at best. I ordered an omelette and was told there was extra charge. I have had many breakfast buffets in Europe and never had an extra charge for an omelette. Bad decision to piss off a guest over a cheese omelette. Pastries, croissants were mediocre. bottom line: would I go back, probably notShow More
