We asked for early check-in and they said no rooms were available, which was completely fine and so we just parked our car and spent a couple hours on the strip. We came back around 4:30 PM and checked in, but when we got to our room, it reeked of cigarettes and marijuana, and the air conditioning was making a very loud rattling noise. I asked if we could switch rooms and one person at the front desk said there were no more rooms available and did not offer any solutions. I asked if there could be air fresheners and a maintenance tech sent to our room and the maintenance technician Came to our room and folded up a piece of paper and put it in between the blinds to stop the rattling. And he called this fixed. It was not fixed because the rattling noise was still there and so I called the front desk from our room and all of a sudden a room opened up. The second room that we checked into had boogers on the wall and the air conditioning was still rattling, but not as much. We just decided that it was good enough and stayed in that room for the night.Show More

First the AC sounded like it was a rocket and when it went, it felt like an earthquake shaking the room. We asked to move rooms they said no they would send maintenance. They put a bandaid on it so the earthquakes stopped by so loud still! Next bring on the ants in the sink/bathroom area. For a “deluxe king room” ? Ellis was always our go to. Idk what happened here! We used to love it here. Hefty tag with little service this time. Every other stay amazing. We took pictures and video. Just not the same awesome off strip place this stay. Show More

I'm sure once it is remodeled it will be a much better venue and casino. On another hand - the casino, dining and experience feels like old Vegas, so there's that. Cheap food and drinks and still smells like smoke. Location was good - just a short walk to the Strip. There was a Beyonce concert the night we drove in so Strip hotels were $600+ so we decided to try this and stay close. On a regular weekday, try to find deals in the main hotels. But if you find yourself in a bind or there's some big deal event going on - this'll do. After all, you won't spend much time in your room anyway. Show More
