Inside there had been cosmet...Very shabby property, needs to be closed for major renovations! I stayed here with my family as part of a group meeting here. The outside was worn but interesting looking. Inside there had been cosmetic upgrades such as flooring and furniture and wallpaper. Unfortunately, there was a major problem with water leaking coming from the roof. Everywhere you looked you could see damage from water running down the walls, patched & damaged areas on the ceilings, rusted supports in the stairwells. A lot of this damage was patched, and re-patched, one room our group used for hospitality purposes sprung an active leak in the ceiling and was unusable. Items were moved to prevent damage and a fan was brought in. It’s clear that this place was coasting on its name as an Embassy Suites property. I heard lots of comments by other guests expressing surprise at the state of the place. And there were a lot of guests, many sports teams traveling through, which also meant lots of kids running all over the place, the one laundry room was constantly in use (made all the worse by the fact that one of the two dryers was essentially nonfunctional), finding a luggage cart was impossible, and the pool water was cloudy from so many bodies. The staff was polite and did what they could. I saw a lot of the same faces working late in the evenings and early in the mornings the next day. It’s not their fault, clearly management needs to shut down for a bit and clean up and rethink their approaches to running the place.Show More
