The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern. Be aware, like many NYC hotels, the rooms are on the smaller side, and the two “queen” beds are really doubles, so my wife and I each ended up sleeping separately and each sharing a bed with one of our daughters. We booked an adjoining room for the rest of our stay, which worked perfectly but cost twice as much. Worth it though. Although compact, the rooms are practical for a New York visit and thoughtfully designed for the small space (for instance you need to close the sliding bathroom door to access the closet). They even come with fitness equipment in the room, which we never used, haha! What really stood out was the service. We had a few hiccups with the food and beverage experience early in our stay (despite Armando, the bartender, doing his best with limited stock), but once we shared our feedback, the team couldn’t have handled it better. Edward, the F&B Manager, and Nyeenya, the Front Desk Manager, both went above and beyond to make things right and ensure we left happy. It’s rare these days to see a team take ownership and respond so quickly and thoughtfully. Edward even showed me a quote in his office that said, “The measure of a great restaurant isn’t how few mistakes you make, but how you handle them.” It’s clear he lives by that. Honorable mentions also to the rest of the front desk team — Sheila, Jaszmine, and Jacqueline — who were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. In the end, what could have been a disappointing experience turned into a memorable one because of the way the staff handled it. That kind of service says a lot about the people and culture at this hotel. We’d definitely stay here again and appreciate how the team turned things around with genuine care and professionalism.Show More

The hotel is very close to Penn Station making it and easy walk so no need to find a way there, just walk. It's close to the trains making it a great jumping off place as well. We arrive an hour plus early and guess what??? The room was ready, no extra charge to check in --- nothing but a smile. Up to the 2300 floor and the room was very clean and as I have traveled a lot, I know dirty rooms when I stay in them. We had dinner at the hotel to avoid the crowds and it was nothing fancy but the bartender was top notch and even got a refill on our wines and the food was pretty good. Check out was a breeze via the app of when walking out the door. Northing is cheap in NYC, the room was on the $$$ but you do get what you pay for. Great staff, nice room, close to lot's of things, and I'll stay here again. The hotel is very close to lots of places to eat including Jacks, Tick Tock and Liberty Bagels (which you have to visit but make sure you know what you want before you get in line. You will also be very close to B&H a legendary photography store (check their hours and they are closed on Friday afternoon and Saturday.Show More

We checked in late Saturday night so were given a room on the second floor near the elevator...not my favorite place to be. I immediately went back to the desk to ask for a different room but the hotel was sold out. The desk promised to move us in the morning as they had many guests checking out. First thing the next day, we received a call to let us know a corner room on the 14th floor would be available soon. It was perfect! Even Hotel is a wellness focused brand under the Intercontinetal umbrella. Each room is equipped with yoga mat, block, roller, cables, a free water bottle and TV workouts. If you're wondering, there was plenty of room (even in a NYC hotel room!) to lay out the mat or do a cable workout. Which was great since I didn't make it to their gym during out stay. But IT was also well equipped. The restaurant looked good, but we didn't get a chance to eat there. The rooms and the entire hotel were immaculate so props to the housekeeping staff. In fact, the entire staff was friendly and accommodating! We would book this hotel again in a heartbeat!Show More

The moment we walked in, we were greeted and recognized as Diamond Elite members—which always feels nice. We were offered all the perks that come with that status, no reminders or begging required. The front desk ladies were amazing—super helpful, always friendly, and somehow remembered us every time we passed by like we were VIPs… or maybe just loud. Now, a fun surprise: we found workout equipment in our room. I didn’t request this, nor have I ever traveled with the intention of exercising. But hey, nothing says “vacation” like a resistance band and a mat staring at you while you eat takeout in bed. Gave us a solid laugh. Then there were the flashing lights. At first, we thought we’d accidentally booked a room with a built-in rave. Luckily, the lovely woman at the front desk talked me through turning off the disco party over the phone. Crisis averted. The area felt safe, which matters. The room and lobby were spotless. And shoutout to the elevator—it was fast and smooth. All in all, a great stay. Would definitely return—just maybe without the surprise gym.Show More
