I went there to visit my son at Fort Bliss The room was in ok condition. The picture on the website didn’t match the room. The front fascia of the bathroom sink was falling off and the ironing board...I went there to visit my son at Fort Bliss The room was in ok condition. The picture on the website didn’t match the room. The front fascia of the bathroom sink was falling off and the ironing board was broken. When I left my room for the day I put the do not disturb sign out. I went to the desk to let them know about the broken things saying I just want to inform you these things will need repair. She was very suspicious of that as she stated “that’s weird we check it everyday” like I did it. She said she’d let someone know. I wasn’t aware that meant they were going in my room while I was out. That’s not something that is acceptable to me. I put the sign out, don’t come in my room. Lastly, I am in a boot for a broken toe. The elevator broke while we were using it. It kept beeping and opening the door, closing the door so we decided to get off but the elevator wasn’t even with the floor. I tripped on the lip of the floor and hurt my toe. This was a disaster of a visit as I don’t expect this many issues when I stay somewhere and to feel like a receptionist was not believing me makes not want to return to a Marriott anywhere.
