Being...The Fairmont Century Plaza hotel is a beautiful, classy hotel. The Staff are vey professional, kind, courteous , delightful and extremally helpful. I visited the hotel when it was first open. Being on the Board of Directors for the Greater Los Angeles Association of Legal Administrators, I was delighted to have met the catering and hotel crew. The hotel would not be at the high grade it is without the professionalism of the staff. Denise and Utku, Royal Service Ambassadors went out of their way to make sure that my friends, the Deetjen's whom I have not seen for 15 years be upgraded to the 8th floor to make them feel so welcomed and comfortable. The Deetjen's were extremely happy and grateful for this great welcome. The Association had many events in the wonderful meeting rooms. I had many law firm events at the hotel when it was the Century Plaza Hotel. No words can express my thanks and appreciation to the wonderful, hard working staff. The Lumière Brasserie restaurant has amazing delicious dishes that you enjoy as you comfortably sit with lights and beautiful trees surrounding you. My thanks to Bertrand Brzezinski, Jamie Walters, Kendale Lopez, Michelle Quinteros, Ivana Stevanovich and Jacob Chung. The staff was exceptional and the property itself is both beautiful and very comfortable. We stayed in a Gold Lounge room, and the team there, especially Bella and the others, were so warm, welcoming, and attentive. Christian at Valet was fantastic, and Paul at the front desk made us feel truly at home from the moment we arrived. The restaurant was excellent, and the spa was a real highlight, relaxing, luxurious, and beautifully designed. I only wish we had discovered it earlier in our stay so we could have enjoyed it every day! Definitely make it one of your first stops. Our only small complaints were the lighting and water options. While I love dark, moody lighting, the rooms and hallways felt a bit too dim at times, and it would be nice to have the option to brighten the space. We also didn’t see any water bottle filling stations, which would be a great addition to help reduce waste from the many glass bottles we recycled during our stay. Overall, this is a truly special hotel with an incredible team. We’ll absolutely be staying here again on future visits to Los Angeles and will be recommending the Fairmont Century Plaza to all our friends, family, and colleagues.Show More

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the location couldn’t be better. With Westfield Century City right next door, everything you need is just a 5 minute walk across the road. Plus, most major LA attractions are only a quick 10-minute Uber ride away, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. During our most recent stay earlier this year, things started off a little rocky, but the staff were amazing. They were so accommodating and even helped us move rooms without any fuss. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. A special mention goes to Elizabeth, the front office manager who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Her kindness and attention to detail truly made all the difference. She notably turned our stay around from disappointed to enjoyment, whilst we spent our last week in LA. We always feel safe and comfortable here when travelling from Australia, and we can’t recommend the Fairmont Century Plaza highly enough. It’s our home away from home in Los Angeles, and we can’t wait for our next visit!Show More

Great common areas and wonderful rooms. We took a Gold Suite with sunset view, great balcony to gaze out over the LA skyline. Rooms are wonderful, well appointed, clean, comfy beds and great furniture. Bathroom is huge with a tub and a shower and plenty of quality towels and Le Labo toiletries. Staff are great, shout out to Christian at valet and drop off, along with the rest of the team, all wonderful and made u feel super welcome. Ty on checking, great duty manager, easy process and straight to our room. Location is great, handy for downtown, close to Rodeo Drive and easy to get in and out of. The Gold rooms give you lounge access, with breakfast, evening snacks and soft drinks. Word of caution, check your bill, on checkout we were charged for two drinks in the lounge, which we never had, so slightly annoyed about that but reception took them off.Show More
