When we arrived, the bellman told us our luggage would be deliver...Disappointing Thanksgiving Stay We stayed at this hotel on Thanksgiving Day, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, the bellman told us our luggage would be delivered in about 10–20 minutes, which was reasonable. However, it ended up taking over an hour. We tried calling the front desk multiple times, but could only get through once—and even that took nearly 10 minutes of waiting. We had our baby with us and urgently needed to change a diaper, but we couldn’t because our luggage hadn’t been delivered. It made the situation stressful and uncomfortable. The hotel was extremely busy, and it showed. The pool water looked filthy, and the sofa bed linens were dirty, which caused skin irritation after we sat on it. These are basic things we didn’t expect to have issues with. Overall, the service was below average, and the stay fell far short of our expectations. We stayed here last year and had a much better experience, so this was especially disappointing.Show More

The location of ...Great customer experience from this Fairmont Olympic Hotel. The deluxe double room was perfect for our family of 4. We had an excellent nights rest after a busy day exploring Seattle. The location of the hotel enabled us to walk to all tourist sites from Pike Place market to the waterfront and Space Needle. We did hire a car to get to the Boeing Factory tour, which was worth the visit. Big shout out goes to Spencer who warmly welcomed our family of 4 upon our arrival and made sure we were all good for our stay at the hotel. We really appreciated his courtesy and assistance. Also a shout out to the breakfast team as they too were warm and welcoming when we ate at "The George restaurant". The flat iron steak was perfectly prepared as well as the Greek yogurt parfait. Final mention the pool and spa were great to relax in after a day's exploration of Seattle. Would definitely be back.Show More

During our visit over several days we had some interaction with plenty of staff, particularly in the restaurants and during banquet events, plus multiple front desk stops. The employees clearly like being here and enjoy service, which is refreshing in this day & age. I especially enjoyed chatting with one of the banquet bartenders who was preparing unique cocktails at a well designed station that included Washington apples and an apple press as a decor prop. At the front desk, the team was very alert and respectful. I had a special request for distilled water and this was provided effectively. That is appreciated. The entire hotel is highly interesting as a great city hotel with decades of being an important place for Seattle events and is a fine ambassador for the region. Thank you,Show More

The room outlo...This is a beautiful historic hotel in central downtown Seattle. We were grateful to have our room upgraded upon arrival. This resulted in a bedroom, bathroom and adjoining sitting area. The room outlook wasn’t pretty but the windows had reasonable coverings to reduce the light coming in. The bathroom was old with a shower over the bath that I personally found challenging to get in and out of. The king bed wasn’t comfortable and I suspect the mattress had seen better days. We enjoyed access to a gym and inside pool and spa that never seemed to have anyone using them. A small cafe produced nice coffee and offered breakfast foods. The convenience of this hotel makes it a very suitable place to stay while in Seattle.Show More
