We recently booked a room at the Famous Hotel and we were very disappointed. On first appearance the internal lobby and staircase looks great and they have made it look good in photos. In reality it’s...We recently booked a room at the Famous Hotel and we were very disappointed. On first appearance the internal lobby and staircase looks great and they have made it look good in photos. In reality it’s very dated and falling apart. Our room was shocking - dirty bathroom, stains on the bedroom floor, water leaking in the fridge. There was no spare toilet paper in the bathroom and the toilet was hissing the whole time. No bin liners in the bin. We ate at the pool bar and while the service was good the food was terrible. We ordered a chicken burger and it was a mashed up mushy patty of mystery meat. We didn’t eat it. Our fries were soggy and just over all unpleasant. The mosque is very close to this hotel and very very loud multiple times throughout the day. This hotel would be good for a back packing experience but I would not recommend it at all to families.Show More
