The day before our visit we called the h...I visited Four Seasons Madrid with a group of six for breakfast and unfortunately our experience was shockingly below the standards associated with this brand. The day before our visit we called the hotel to make a reservation and were clearly told that breakfast operated on a walk-in basis and no booking was needed. Relying on this information we arrived the next morning only to be turned away at the seventh floor restaurant. We were told that the information we received was incorrect. Despite several empty tables the staff made no effort whatsoever to help us, accommodate us, or even explore an alternative. What was most disappointing was the complete absence of basic hospitality. They did not offer a single gesture of apology, not even a simple cup of coffee while they looked into the situation. We were left standing there with no explanation, no support, and no courtesy from the team. I strongly advise you to stay away from this property. Do not visit for breakfast and I would not recommend booking a stay either. There are many hotels in Madrid that respect their guests and understand service recovery, and unfortunately this was not one of them. I hope management seriously reviews and corrects these issues, because right now the service does not reflect true luxury hospitality.Show More

There wa...What a fantastic hotel! Great location, great ambience, great service, great food and overall, a great hotel. I was picked up from the airport in a BMW i7 and my driver was more than nice. There was little bit of an issue at the airport (long story) but he was very patient, polite and helpful. Totally justified the high price for the ride. I was received by one of the managers at the reception, and check in was very smooth and efficient. Room was luxurious and very well appointed with nice, comfortable furniture and also modern technologies. Breakfast was good with their speciality Spanish Omelet and Churros con Chocolate. Service was surprisingly good for a breakfast restaurant. While most luxury hotels do their best to provide good service, the breakfast in general seems to be a bit chaotic even at some of the nicest hotels in the world. However, these guys have handled the breakfast part extremely well. I did not get a chance to try any other restaurants but the room service was good. The one thing I would point out, just as feedback, is that the walkway from the elevators to the front entrance is a bit congested and awkward. Guests have to either walk through the reception or the lobby lounge. The walkway in front of the reception is very narrow and there are always people standing there, so that makes most guests walk through the lobby lounge in between the tables. It’s a bit awkward. Not sure if anything can be done to widen the space in front of the reception given the construction constraints, but I think at the least removing a few tables from the lounge (closer to the walkway between the elevators and front entrance) would make it a lot more elegant. Check-out was as good and efficient as check-in was. Bell staff were really helpful. Overall, I would say this is one of the nicest hotels in Europe and one of the best Four Seasons.Show More

One never has to take transportation to any of the main attractions or to any of the central areas where the action is happening in Madrid. It's a dream how walkable this hotel is. Of course, it's a Four Seasons, so what can you expect? It has the best rooms, best service, best everything. Our room was lovely, a small suite with ample amenities, a space to work, great closet space and a comfortable bed. For once the lighting was easy to figure out in a hotel room, which can often be confusing when a hotel is older. The bathroom was huge with wonderful amenties-anything you could possibly want or might have forgotten at home. Great staff, especially the concierge who communicated with us prior to arrival and helped recommend an book many reservations. They were great IRL too! The bell staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. the architecture of the building itself is stunning.Show More

The service throughout our stay was superb, and the hotel looks noticeably improved compared to my previous visit. Every employee we encountered went above and beyond to assist us, and the visible security around the property added an extra layer of peace and comfort. Our room had been recently renovated, and it showed—beautiful, modern, and incredibly comfortable. I was especially delighted to see Rossano Ferretti bathroom amenities, which added a luxurious touch. A highlight of the trip was my amazing facial with Jessica, along with the wonderful service from Yessica at the spa front desk. Both were incredibly professional and made the experience unforgettable. All in all, a fantastic stay from start to finish. Can’t wait to return!Show More
