Let me start by saying that it is absolutely a 5 star hotel. From the moment we arrived the bell men immediately took our luggage from our taxi and delivered it directly to our room. As we entered we were greeted by welcoming staff and the scent of the beautiful flower arrangements in the grand lobby. The front desk check-in staff is on point. They are extremely courteous and professional. Mesut, the young gentleman who took care of us was exceptional as he went above and beyond to give us the utmost service. When we entered our King Harbour View we were blown away. All I can say is, WOW! The view is breathtaking. It is comfortable and spacious with lovely amenities. The room has Club Access which is worth every penny as you are entitled to an amazing Continental Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and Evening Cocktails during your stay. We have walked easily to various locations, restaurants and shopping. So far, we are loving everything about this outstanding hotel and the city of Hong Kong! Now that it is my final evening at this amazing hotel, I need to elaborate on my stay. The staff is the most accommodating and genuinely kind team that I have ever encountered in my travel journeys. I feel the need to give credit to the employees that have made us feel welcomed, comfortable and pretty much like royalty during our time in this luxurious home away from home. Marvin, the Assistant Manager of Concierge spent time helping us find our way around the city and guiding us to local restaurants that met our dietary needs. Kylie, the Lead Host of Guest Experiences answered our many questions and helped us with providing an effortless checkout and transportation to the airport. I can’t express enough how beautifully the staff of the Grand Club Lounge handled each and every guest upon arrival and during the breakfast, tea and the cocktail hour. Annie always greeted us with a warm smile and engaging personality. Andy and Mason could not do enough to make our dining experience at the Grand Club Lounge feel like we were the only people there and clearly, they did that for everyone there! Thanks to our suite upgrade award, we were given a Grand Suite with a breathtaking harbor view—easily one of the best I’ve seen. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and we especially loved the large bathtub that comfortably fit all three of us—a rare treat for a family traveling together. We also deeply appreciated the hotel’s proactive communication before check-in, helping us add a bed rail and an extra small bed for our child. It was this level of attention to detail that made our stay so smooth and enjoyable. The gentleman who helped us check in was extremely professional and efficient, making the arrival process seamless. In the evening, we enjoyed a lovely family meal at the Club Lounge, and breakfast the next morning was truly impressive—with a wide variety of dishes, including many authentic Hong Kong local selections that we really enjoyed. The location is another big advantage, with easy access to the MTR at Exhibition Centre Station—just a quick ride back to Shenzhen. Though the hotel shows its age in some of its decor, everything is impeccably maintained, and the level of upkeep reflects true hospitality excellence. As an art lover, I was also delighted to see a Zeng Fanzhi painting in the lobby, adding a refined touch to the space. If I return to Hong Kong with my family, I would absolutely choose Grand Hyatt again. It’s a hotel that combines service, comfort, and thoughtful design in a way that few others do.Show More

Due ...I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong for a work trip and was thoroughly impressed by the level of service and care provided throughout my visit, even during an unexpected super typhoon. Due to the severe weather, I wasn’t able to go outdoors for part of my stay. However, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Room service was prompt and thoughtful. They surprised me with a beautifully presented bottle of champagne and a delicious cake, which really lifted my spirits, thanks to Amy Roh and Christy Chue. During the typhoon, I also enjoyed several meals from the hotel’s canteen, which remained open and operational despite the challenging conditions. The food was excellent and the staff there was super kind and friendly. Even in less-than-ideal weather, the experience remained top-notch thanks to the professionalism and genuine hospitality of the staff. From the front desk to housekeeping and customer service, every team member was attentive, courteous, and dedicated to making guests feel at ease. The day before we arrived, I requested a special 'honeymoon' arrangement for our room. The Guest Services manager, Amy Roh, was extremely responsive and helpful. She set up a cake, flower petals and a sweet note for us. The rest of the team at the hotel reflected this standard of service. During our stay, a massive typhoon swept over the city. To allay our fears, the concierge on our floor suggested we could move to a safer room higher up in the building. We agreed and for a few days had access to both rooms - without any hassle or extra charge. When our flight was cancelled due to the storm, they were able to extend our booking and make arrangements to keep us in the same room. The hotel also offers the biggest hotel gym I've ever seen, a sauna with a view of Hong Kong's harbour and eleven (yes eleven) different eating options to choose from. Also, the breakfast is stellar. I couldn't recommend it more! And thank you again Amy for all your hospitality - it made our honeymoon just that much more memorable! :DShow More
