I would give this a rating of average to good. Staff are very nice but it did take a long time at check-in for a one night stay… the rooms are okay but on the smallest side for a five star hotel.. wit...I would give this a rating of average to good. Staff are very nice but it did take a long time at check-in for a one night stay… the rooms are okay but on the smallest side for a five star hotel.. with a huge lounge thing from one side of the room to almost the other it -just takes up an enormous amount of room. The bathroom obviously was designed back in the day where architects thought it was smart to have all glass with drop-down curtains for privacy. So the curtains are inside the shower so they’re all rotten along the bottom due to the wetness. But it’s a nice size shower and the bathroom is nice with some nice amenities but no body lotion or hand lotion which is a bit weird for this standard of hotel. The beds are very comfortable. I’m not a fan of all their technology. It’s the most convoluted way of turning on and off lights and air conditioning…. we’re not stupid ,we travel a lot and are used to these kind of things …but this is the worst one ever. I’m currently sitting under a fan which has been turned off at least 100 times since we’ve been here but it will not turn off. Only if it does slow down then it just speeds up again. I’ve had to turn the air-conditioner off a number of times and it just seems to turn itself back on. And as for the blinds in the bathroom they go up and down like mental kids.. and the lighting in the bathroom isn’t great.. they provided two teabags and two coffee straws and no milk but you have the dried milk powder and you only got two. Now we like a cup of tea or six ,and had to go and ask someone in the hall for more teabags…. It’s a premium teabag that they use ,but it’s got a weird flavour and it’s just awful and unfortunately the same was at breakfast.. as with most buffets ,it can get a bit congested in there.. look it’s a nice enough hotel but I’m just going to say it’s not my favourite and I don’t know that I would stay here again. The area that is the buffet was the small restaurant and bar at night time and we did enjoy our time there last night. It was nice to have a good price drinks up to 5 pm and we had some snacky things which were quite nice. .. And I’m just gonna say, I think their water machine that they have -is just stupid .. having to fill up cups and go into the bathroom and fill this water thing up every time you wanted something was just ridiculous.Show More

The room was clean and comfortable, but what truly made my stay special was the Crystal Club Lounge. The lounge service was consistently professional and warm. I especially want to thank Gladys, Amanda, and Iman — their genuine hospitality, attentiveness, and friendly service left a lasting impression on me and made each visit to the lounge a real pleasure. The breakfast and evening bites changed daily, which kept things interesting, and the food quality was excellent throughout. Although I don’t drink alcohol, I appreciated the variety of non-alcoholic beverages available. My favourite part of breakfast was the freshly made, piping hot omelette — always delicious and satisfying. I’m truly grateful to the lounge team for making my stay such a wonderful and memorable one. Highly recommend the Crystal Club experience to anyone staying at Grand Park City Hall!Show More

The food and drinks were delicious at the Crystal Lounge but it was the staff that were exceptional and a stand out. the food and drinks were very good. Allysha was warm and engaging and every interaction with her has made us very welcomed and felt at home. Her smile and friendliness has been the highlight of our stay. Imam was very attentive and we appreciate how he remembered our drink preferences which made us feel noted. And nothing is too much for him to cater for. While the room is intimate and luxurious, we would have appreciated more storage space, particularly with no bedside storage. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and Grand Park City Hall was a wonderful base for the exploration of the city.Show More
