The location of the hotel is fantastic, you're near 2 underground stations, and right next to Hyde Park which just a scenic walk through and you're practically in the centre. The overall Hotel outside and reception/hallways etc. are in fantastic condition, keeping to the old aesthetic and is very pleasing.Show More

To be frank the hotel has a serious heating issue right now. First night in room 214 and 215 was freezing. Should have asked to be moved there and then. . Should have asked to be moved there and then. . Ok it's an old hotel but this was complained about on herel two weeks before our stay.. Mum complained next day. Shoulders shrugged. Went out for the day and returned about midnight. The night staff couldn't be more different about resolving the issue. We were found super warm rooms and Waqas was instrumental in this. Too man. Even moved our luggage. But it should have been resolved earlier. As for the rest it's a beautiful historic hotel, good value for money and breakfast was wonderful and close to a tube station. Would stay again if the heating issue gets sorShow More
