The location is really really nice right in the centre nearby to majority of the attractions. The staff is courteous. Overall the room was big, spacious and well lit. The bathroom was big. The room was clean. The room had air conditioning and was working great. The reception lobby area is big and few days someone played piano which was nice to unwind.
As a 4star property, i would expect the sound insulation to be much better. We could hear all noises (conversations, TV etc.) from the next room and from the street. i even had to complain at the reception one morning when neighbour room had TV on at around 3:30-4am. The exhaust in the bathroom doesn't function which should not be the case for a big property like this.

2/10 You pay for a 4-star hotel, you get a 2-star disaster.
The only thing good about Grupotel Mayorazgo was the breakfast.

The location was very good, near de Metro station Plaza Espagna and Gran Via. The staff was friendly and the breakfast amazing. From pancakes to jamon and proseco, you can find whatever you want.

7/10 Nice could be better with attention to details that make guests feel cared for.
Lovely hotel updated facilities modern bathroom good location but quiet just off main street. Comfortable bed.
It’s disappointing there are no tea or coffee making facilities either in the room or available for guests I was told abruptly that this is available for a fee at the bar!!
Also no tissues are provided in the room.
Thank you to paulo for explaining the train card system to us.

An exceptional 4 star hotel just steps away from Madrid’s Gran Via.
The bedroom was spacious, comfortable & spotlessly clean.
This was without doubt the best breakfast spread I have ever seen.
The hotel staff were all very friendly & helpful.

Friendly staff, so accommodating. Offered to store bags in day of departure and let me have access to the room early as I arrived at 11 from my flight. This was hugely appreciated. Spotlessly clean, good blackout curtains and comfy bed. Powerful shower too!

Lovely hotel and room but pillows are poor for a 4*, had the same in a camping pod in Ciudad Real. High price and didn’t include breakfast.

Very central location with helpful staff. Beautiful rooms with lovely designs which pay homage to Madrid. The beds were very comfortable.

Great location, everything is close by. Julian at reception very helpful and friendly; beds are nice and comfortable, although they only had a room with 2 single beds put together. The cleaners are very efficient, and leave the room very clean.
All in all, very nice hotel, very clean, and location is excellent.
