I would thoroughly recommend it. The gentleman who welcomed us at reception was charming and our rooms were lovely. They weren't huge but the size was more than adequate. They were spotlessly clean, attractively furnished and very well-appointed. The cute little breakfast room served a good range of food for a reasonable price. In terms of location, we found the St. Germain des Pres area to be perfect for visiting many of the famous tourist attractions, most of which were within comfortable walking distance. We didn't use the Metro at all, instead preferring to walk and absorb the fascinating French atmosphere. Places such as Notre Dame, the Sainte Chapelle, the River Seine, the Luxembourg Gardens, the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay, the Opera House, the Galleries Lafayette and even the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe were all within walking distance, although these last two were quite a long walk. The immediate area around the hotel was beautiful, with lots of gorgeous cafes, restaurants, shops and markets. In particular, a small restaurant called the 'Restaurant l'Epidon' is located just across the road from the hotel and we found it to be wonderful. It's only small but the food and service were excellent. We were very sorry when we had to leave this charming hotel and if I ever have the opportunity to return to Paris, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.Show More

It's perfectly located in the beautiful St Germain area, near Metro, near RER station, near grocery and Monoprix, walkable to all the sites. A ton of great coffee shops, cafes, and caves in the surrounding blocks. My room was small but wonderful--big windows, blackout drapes, very comfortable bed, big fluffy towels, well-equipped with kettle, mugs, toiletries, hair dryer. Staff refreshed the room daily and were exceptionally friendly and attentive. I happened to be there on the first day of the Nouveau Beaujolais, and the hotel hosted a complimentary wine tasting with hors d'oeuvres. I also enjoyed that the space was beautifully designed in a historic building. Excellent value for the location and amenities.Show More
