I really can't say enough positive about our experience at Hotel du Plat d'Etain. First of all, the location is so convenient - within a block from the Strousbourg Saint Denis metro station, but also...I really can't say enough positive about our experience at Hotel du Plat d'Etain. First of all, the location is so convenient - within a block from the Strousbourg Saint Denis metro station, but also walkable to nearly everywhere we wanted to go in Paris. I felt safe the entire time and there was a cozy cafe right across the street for breakfast and or lunch; however, we had the daily breakfast buffet at the hotel which was phenomenal. There was such a great assortment of breads (croissants, rolls, pastries), two kinds of scrambled eggs, soft boiled eggs, pancakes, cereals, meats, cheeses, veggies, juices and coffee - such a great value to fuel up and start your day of enjoying Paris! We stayed in the quadruple family room with 4 twin beds, which was converted to a king and two twins. There were only 3 of us, and it was nice to have the extra space to organize luggage, etc, but it would be very sufficient for 4 people. There is a coffeemaker with complimentary coffees and teas which was kept well stocked and appreciated. There was a mini-bar in the room which we did not use but it was nice to know it was there. We also appreciated the safe in the closet for passports, etc. The bathroom was quite spacious and the shower was AMAZING - always hot and such great water pressure - it was a treat to shower!!! The housekeeping always kept the room clean daily and stocked with fresh towels, no matter what time we left for the day. Perhaps the best thing I can say about Hotel du Plat d'Etain, however, was the incredible customer service and pleasant kindness of all of the staff. The front desk receptionists could not have been more gracious and helpful - from the time we arrived very early for our stay (our room was not yet ready but they have a nice locked room to store luggage until check-in is available). The staff was always ready with a smile to answer questions, give advice, and arrange taxi on our way back to the airport (the metro and RER train would be a very do-able option but we had substantial luggage and decided that the taxi was best for us). All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel enough - it was reasonably priced for Paris, great convenient location in the La Marais neighborhood, walkable, clean, comfortable and offered great customer service. They truly made our stay in Paris special and I will definitely return for another stay at this hotel in this beautiful city.Show More

A perfect hotel, very worth the money. That is a very central location, within 100 m of a Metro station. All was good, no complaints, only thanks to the people working there. All was good, no complaints, only thanks to the people working there. Some might say the rooms are small - it was completely enough for the two. Breakfast, cleaning, quietness, elevator, internet, a safebox, TV, help from the staff - name it. Everything was perfect. I think it was hotel #12 in a series of hotels for the last three months (and I chose good hotels) - this one shares first place with another one (in Thessaloniki :-). In short, there is only one problem - to be lucky to order it in advance. During our stay, on the entrance door, there was a sign "complete" - no place. Thanks again.Show More

Sistema di riscaldamento perfetto, così come i prodotti da bagno offerti. Graditissimi i cioccolatini che ci sono stati lasciati in camera il 24/12 con gli auguri di Natale: è stato un piccolo pensiero che ci ha riempito il cuore!Show More
