8(2204)9/10 Great Place to Stay in Downtown Montreal!
This is my second stay here in 6 months. Love the large suites with couches and kitchenette, and the second TV in the "living room." The rate was very reasonable for the location, which is walking distance from most attractions, and very close to the Peel subway station. The staff are excellent (Actually better than my last visit - no car Valet to deal with). Was given a room on the 20th floor, and the view was Ok. GREAT shower, and lots of good sized towels and two nice bathrobes. Got to use the restaurant this time. Once for dinner, and once for breakfast. The food was great and the service very, very good. Prices a bit on the high side, but I've seen lots worse. I'd stay here again. Loved it the first time and this visit didn't do anything to change that. Stay here. You'll be amazed at what you get for the price.

9/10 Perfect for longer stays, both business or leisure
Great location for transportation - next to Peel, also next to a lot of restaurants. A little far from any proper groceries stores, but we're still talking about 10-15 minutes walk so it's not too bad.
The bed was comfortable, the room was very spacious and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful.
Quite handy with a mini kitchen when staying for over a week.

The location was ideal, with easy access to various corner stores, banks, and other essential services. Upon arrival, the valet staff were courteous, and the luggage carrier service was exceptional.

10/10 Very Good Classic Hotel for families
Cantlie suites was a great classic hotel for our family of four. The beds were very comfortable and the extra space of the suite was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great for shopping on Rue Sainte Catherine in the downtown area.

5/10 Good 3 stars hotel, but far from 4 stars declared
Place was fine, in the University and Museum area, just in DT. We stayed on 20th floor with beautiful view. We liked a small kitchen in the room.

3/10 Montreal is a nice city, it deserve better service.
Nothing, the location is probably good but did not have a chance to explore it because of the bad weather. The hotel itself is a disaster.

10/10 Great place, budget friendly would recommend
The last time I had been to this hotel was 2010. I decided to check it out again and I was pleasantly surprised that the staff were still amazing, the rooms were still super clean and the bed was so comfortable. This hotel is right downtown so you can walk everywhere if you want to, there’s parking in the basement so if you come by car don’t worry about street parking. Our room had a full kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every night we cooked some of our meals. It was great :)

8/10 Close to everything with some historic charm!
The hotel's equipment is a little aged but there is a charm to the place. Staff are quite friendly and fast.
Minutes away from the Museum of Fine Art.
There is a men's formalwear store attached which was a nice surprise. Cost was very reasonable.

10/10 My stay was perfect in every way and I look forward to returning three times a year while my daughter is in school.
I come to visit my daughter at McGill. Because of this wonderful suite with kitchenette, we can pretend that we are home together living. Housekeeping was graciously responsive to every ask. Perfect. Thank you so much for helping me make lifetime memories.

8/10 I would stay again, great spot for the price.
The location was perfect, in the downtown core near restaurants and the metro. Staff were wonderful, and it was an added bonus there was a valet option with underground parking since we visited during a snowstorm.

I love the fact that the rooms were spacious and had a full kitchen , beds are large and comfy maybe a bit too soft albeit .

The shower was quite luxurious and the bed was super comfy. The kitchenette being a separate room with closing doors was nice. The staff was courteous and helpful.
