This is my last day, and I must say that all the positive reviews I read prior to booking were absolutely true. The location is perfect, in the center of the old town, close to all attractions, and surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants. The room is clean, and breakfast is better than many other 4-star and 5-star hotels I have stayed in, which I greatly appreciated. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional staff. They are consistently polite and friendly and genuinely couldn't do enough for me. I would like to give a special thank you to the gentlemen at the reception desk. Thank you, Chenma and Borja . They were both incredibly kind and patient when I made a request to change to a room with a better view. They went out of their way to find the perfect room for me, ensuring I had the best possible experience. Thank you once again. I look forward to returning in the future.Show More

I had a very good room, with a comfortable bed and very good bathroom. Cleanliness was excellent, heating/air conditioning worked very well and was not noisy. My room was on the back side, over the internal patio, it was very quiet, with no noises from outside. However, it was also quite dark: electric lightning was needed also during the day. Free wi-fi worked very well, and staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was outstandingly good, with a lot of choices available. There is also a rooftop with bar and swimming pool, from which you have a nice view of the city.Show More

Special thanks to Anthony and Jamie at the front desk for all their help and great suggestions. One plus on the location is the hotel's proximity to Les Setas. If you get lost, just look for the mushroom to get your bearings to the hotel. Some helpful hints - when arriving via taxi, have the taxi drop you off by Les Setas. It is a short, easy walk to the hotel and the cab fare will be less expensive since the taxis don't have to negotiate all the one-way streets. Do the same when departing. Just walk down and catch a taxi at the taxi stand. Also join the H10 club for an automatic 5% discount on the room rate plus a welcome gift and watch for hotel sales on their website. Do not hesitate to book at Casa de la Plata - you won't be disappointed.Show More

The location of this hotel is absolutely the best and even our toddler managed the walk to the Alcazar with no issues. Breakfast was truly awesome (and we would know, having had breakfast here for eight days straight). Special shout-out to one of the breakfast servers (apologies we did not get her name but she was on duty from 730am on 30th November and 1st December), who always had a kind smile for our toddler. The size of our triple room was beyond comfortable and we are really happy that we chose this hotel.Show More
