The best part was the staff. Check-in took under 5 minutes and then when it was time to check out the ladies at the desk were so kind helping us figure out logistics of packing up my husband's medical equipment while I was at a work event. I had to run back and forth from a few blocks away to get everything loaded up, and they were extremely accommodating with giving us a later checkout and helping us store some of the heavier items until I was done at work. Thanks to them I was able to stay until the end of the event instead of missing the last 45 minutes. It probably wasn't a big deal to them, but it made my morning so much easier. I've been in other hotels where they were completely unwilling to work with us at all. It's not expected but it sure is appreciated when they go out of their way to help us. We also had supper in the restaurant and the waitress was lovely there too. She was very friendly and when we left my husband's medical bag behind by accident she found me later in the lobby and returned it before I even noticed it was missing. And finally, also had a really pleasant conversation with one of the desk staff on the night shift. I needed water for a Bipap machine and she helped me out. It wasn't quite what we needed but our best option for 11pm at night. And she was so nice about it all. Just everyone I met here had a great attitude and wanted to help.Show More

Mere steps to the Convention Centre. 5 minute walk to the hockey arena. 10-15 minute walk to the Forks. Lots of restaurants nearby (check out the Capital Grill). Parking on site. Bar/restaurant on site open in the evenings. Super friendly staff. Traditional full Hampton Inn breakfast with both hot and cold options is included. Our room on the 5th floor had a balcony with chairs which must be nice on a warmer day. Our room was huge with a very comfortable king bed. We never heard neighbours; other than doors closing in the morning. Would not hesitate to stay here again.Show More

A member of staff even came up and told them a little about the fish! This is probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at, I really appreciated the complimentary breakfast, and I got a lot of help with grabbing meals and dishes during this breakfast. My kids loved the room, and enjoyed the bathtub. My commendation goes out to all the staff. Without them y'all would not have half the quality of hotel that you do. Every single person who worked there for the night we stayed was absolutely amazing, and I hope that they are recognized for their hard work.Show More
