To begin with, upon check in to our room, no complimentary water, no soap in the bathroom, only shampoo and conditioner, room looked like it had not been vacummed, some food on the floor, yuk.
We had a 8:15 reservation @ The Copper Room in the resort for dinner. When we arrived, 10 people were waiting at the hostess desk with no hostess to be found. We found out that the room had just hosted a "Murder Mystery Dinner", so that's fine, they had to convert the restaurant back to dinner seating tables. Finally after being seated 15 minutes later, a young girl brings us ice water and bread and says, "Hi I'm Nicki, I will be taking care of your table tonight". After we chose our drinks and chose our menu items, no sign of Nicki for 15 minutes. Another lady comes by our table and says "Anything I can help you with?" We replied, "how about our server?". She took our drink order and food order. Drinks didn't arrive until another fifteen minutes passed. Food was just average, nothing outstanding. I counted only 18 tables including ours. A table of two ladies that were seated just before us, got up early after their dinner and left, they were clearly not happy or impressed by the service either. They commented in the Hot Springs pool an hour later that they had the same poor experience during dinner.
Overall just an average experience at this resort, most likely would not be back. Service was subpar and the rooms were not what you would expect for $389.00 per evening and 7 different taxes added to the nightly room rate. Plus $169 for a dinner with average food and poor service. All totaled $659.96 for one evening? Not worth it!!!
Spend your money elsewhere and you will most likely have a better experience.Show More
