We just came back from this hotel and we are more than glad to add it to our "let's go back asap" list. We had an executive lagoon room with breakfast and dinner included.

Check in process was quite fast, but we still had to wait about an hour for the room - we arrived early so it's understandable. We explored the hotel in the meantime and we checked our room location - we were even able to take a quick glance at it thanks to Buddy!
The room was very nice - although it was hard to turn on the shower faucet, no idea if this was specific to our room or a general problem. A lot of strength was needed. The beds were comfortable, the view from the lagoon rooms is very beautiful and I think our room was one of the best in the resort as it had a large share of the pool and also far from the construction site - room 116 is the way to go.
The pool selection at this hotel is incredible! Probably the best I've ever seen: You have a 30m slide that's suitable for both kids and adults, a kids pool, a jacuzzi and about 2 other large pools, in addition to the lagoon pool shared by the rooms at the 1st floor. There is also an infinity pool at Elara that we haven't tried. The hotel provides balls and inflatable toys for guests to enjoy (at some point one basketball hoop disappeared overnight but there is one remaining haha). My only wish would be an adults only pool - while this hotel is catered mainly to kids, I wish I could enjoy some relaxing swimming without being splashed by kids left unsupervised and there are more than enough pools to do so. The pool technically stays open until 10 pm, but they start pouring chlorine or something else early (like 7-8 pm). I'm not really sure that it's entirely safe, so we exited the pool at that time.
The beach is okay - the waves are really big so you can't swim and they are working on bringing extra sand to the hotel beach so it was changing everyday while we were there. There are better beaches on the island, but the pools make up for it. There is a lot of rubbish just as other guests have pointed out, both from the construction next door and from the hotel guests - please, respect the nature! If you feel too important to pickup trash, at least don't leave your own bottles/toys/rubbish in the water! A trashcan closer to the beach would help by encouraging tourists to pick up trash from the beach. It's a shame how people don't care about the planet at all.
The food was outstanding! The breakfast buffet was incredible, the biggest one I've ever seen! The dinner buffet repeated every 2 days which gave us the opportunity to try all the food without overeating (or at least we tried). The barbecue night was absolutely delicious and a very interesting experience with different kind of meat brought to your table - even picanha and wagyu! Special thanks to Dwipa and Sudar for making our dinners so special. The desserts were also very delicious. My only comment would be to add a note stating that some foods are hot/spicy so guests with digestive problems could avoid them without causing food waste. I loved the refreshing Lemonade Mojito and the Fresh Mango juice during every dinner. We only dined at the buffet and it was perfect for us.
The executive lounge offers alcoholic beverages and canapes from 5 to 7, each evening has a different theme. I remember Balinese, Italian, Japanese, British. There are also lots of snacks and soft drinks available throughout the day.
There are monkeys on the property but never bothered us. The hotel is well kept and a very pleasant place to take a nice walk - lots of nice things to discover, like a swing on the beach, the observation deck, some instagramable spots as they call them. Overall a very beautiful resort.
There is a Game Cave on site but it's only for kids (adults too if no kid is present) and ping pong.
My comment would be that there is way too much perfume in the lifts - it's a real issue for people that are allergic so it would be helpful to adjust the quantity of perfumes.
We went during low season so it was thankfully quieter then usual, but I believe this is a kids' paradise during the high season with lots of activities for them, so kids-free families might want to think twice about this. There are still lots of areas in the hotel so it's easy to find a quiet place.
There is one free shuttle daily to Bali Collection - double check with the concierge, it's a nice experience, especially if paired with Nusa Dua waterblow at walking distance from the mall.
The staff was very helpful and attentive and made our stay very pleasant, checkout was smooth.
All in all, we will definitely return, especially during low season, to experience a beautiful and complex resort on the wonderful island of Bali!Show More
