There are literally no bathroom doors, only a sliding partition that is purely decorative and serves no function at all whatsoever. There are significant gaps on all four sides which leave absolutely no sound proof (or odor proof) for the sake of your privacy. There is no option to use the bathroom fan since there is not one and turning on the water from the sink didn't help because it flowed out of the faucet softly which did not help to mask any sound, Hilton should be ashamed for sacrificing the dignity and privacy of their guests just to save money on the expense of regular doors that at the bare minimum should be a given and expectation in a hotel of this caliber. I never in a million years would have thought to have to ask when making a reservation if there were actual doors to the bathroom separating the rest of the room. This was a weekend that I had really been looking forward to and the only memories I will have from staying here on the top floor of this "nice" hotel will be how awkward and embarrising it turned out to be. Every single slightest bodily function could be heard and I am appalled how this is accepted as a norm in a Hilton hotel. It is beyond me how this design was ever even approved to be used and built in the first place. It certainly wasn't "tested" by any type of management for they would never subject themselves to this practically uncivilized situation. I can't imagine this hotel would have any repeat guests unless it was a person staying on their own. I know I won't be returning and will be sure to let others know the situation if they are contemplating a stay at the Hilton Denver City Center. There are plenty of other options downtown that would certainly be a much, much more pleasant experience and that is an understatement indeed! I still can't believe that hard-earned money was wasted on such an abysmal experience that was meant to be a rewarding weekend getaway. I would have been better off staying at home and sparing myself the expense and embarassment! Never again!!Show More

First the pros: this hotel is in the heart of downtown. Therefore, if you have business to do in downtown, you are all set. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. There is a Starbucks in the hotel, which is very convenient. The rooms are updated nicely. There are plugs and ports next to the bed and at the desk. The Wi-Fi works very well. The windows in the room has a little slot that you can open to get some fresh air. This is really nice. There is a fitness center, but I did not partake. Second, now the cons: the food options at this hotel are poor. Yes, there is a Starbucks, but one cannot live on Starbucks alone (or at least for some of us!). Be aware that in the morning, the lines at Starbucks are huge, so plan your time accordingly. There is one restaurant in the hotel. It is not very good. There is no real grab and go type facility. Right next to the check in area there is a rack with some candy/snacks and then right next to this rack is a tiny room with two small freezers with beverages and edibles. It is clear that this was simply an afterthought and just put together very amateurish. For a hotel like this, they need to up their game in food offerings. The decor in the rooms and hallway is very dark. It's kind of depressing.Show More

This hotel doesn't offer a complimentary breakfast but being a Hilton Honor Diamond member, i received a daily dining credit ($15/day) that i could use in the hotel/room service. There is a few bars/restaurants and stores within walking distance ,there is a Target and the convention center is 5 min away.The movie theater is close too. All the employees are very nice and helpful. The only snag was the noise.I could hear my neighbors leaving their room,the maintenance using some leaves blower and the housekeepers cleaning early in the morning and even banging my door "housekeeping" the last day even though i paid for a late checkout! ***They also took my "privacy please" sign off my door during my stay and cleaned my room.Show More
