The Hilton is a cookie cutter big city hotel. My room was large but poorly designed and furnished. For example, the only chair was the desk chair, the bathroom was quite small, and the closet was sm...The Hilton is a cookie cutter big city hotel. My room was large but poorly designed and furnished. For example, the only chair was the desk chair, the bathroom was quite small, and the closet was small and poorly designed. The only shelf space was tucked in the corner of the closet, and the safe came with the mechanical locks extended and no way to unlock the safe because the safe could not be turned on. However, the biggest issues were the elevators and power. There are 5 elevators serving 32 floors, and not all the elevators were working. I had to wait up to 15-20 minutes for an elevator, and there is no way to access the stairwells from the first floor - so you have to wait for an elevator if you want to go to your room. Finally, they had a pre-planned shutdown of ALL power to the hotel from 12-6 am on Sunday morning. If your room was an upper floor and you came back to the hotel after 12 am or you had a flight before 830 am, good luck walking up to your room, packing in the dark, or lugging your bags down the stairs. (Or going to the bathroom for anyone else.) The hotel claimed it notified customers - but they did a very poor job. I stayed at the Sheraton across the street for a night before staying at the Hilton - and I can attest the Sheraton has nicer rooms, more elevators and much friendlier staff - and it is less expensive than the Hilton. I would not stay here again, and I am a Hilton Honors member.Show More

From our arrival to our anniversary dinner, Marcus and the people at front desk took every possible action to make us feel welcomed. Special thanks to Timothy and Megan from the sales team for going above and beyond to make the stay extra special. Julian Kearney, Hamid Sharif Mohiuddin, Justin Mulla, Sarfaraz Faruqui, Ricky Shah, and the people at the paneled and executive lounge provided exceptional service to make us feel like we were their top priority and truly honored guests. People like Zanele from the executive lounge fut together the elements needed for for a truly relaxing environment. Lounge experience being exceptional. Housekeepers did a great job of keeping our room clean and ready for use. All the people we met provided exceptional service and we were blown away by the level of professionalism, warmth, and care that every team member showed. Hilton Toronto. We will return to you for the hospitality and attention to detail that you readily provided. This is how every other service should run. I honestly cannot wait to return.Show More
