Some of the reviews we...I booked the 2 night “Breakation” package, for my wife and I, as it seemed like a great price considering its meal inclusions, walk-to-the-Falls location, free parking and pool. Some of the reviews were concerning but they also seemed petty and mean spirited, so we discounted them. We are so glad we did. We are both in our 70s, but fit, so the short walk to the Falls was not a problem, although the uphill return was a little slower. Everything about this hotel and package exceeded our expectations. The hotel was well maintained and the surface parking at the rear was convenient, well-lit and there was nothing worrisome about it. We never had to use the car. We had our included meals in the hotel restaurant, Coco’s, and also at the Skylon revolving restaurant, a short walk away. The meal choices were restricted to special menus but in all cases food choices were adequate and the food was very good. We appreciated that wine lists at all restaurants we visited included many Niagara region wines. The room (311) was clean, comfortable and quiet. The room was made up during the second day which has not been the case with other multiple night stays at other hotels since the pandemic. The online booking process (through the hotel) was easy and any emailed questions were promptly answered by email or phone call. We arrived a little early and were promptly checked in. All interactions with staff were friendly, professional and efficient. All hotel food was tasty, nicely presented, in a lovely restaurant by pleasant servers. We used the pool, hot tub and sauna. The pool area was spacious with a wood cathedral ceiling and windows to the outdoor pool patio (closed), a hot tub and sauna, both at perfect temperature, and a shower enclosure to rinse off. Towels were plentiful and there were change/washrooms nearby. All were clean and well maintained. There was a minor chlorine odor normally expected from an indoor pool building. We haven’t been to the Falls in many years and we’re glad we did so before the weather turned colder. If we return to Niagara Falls, we won’t stay anywhere else. There is no Falls view from any room but the hotel does not suggest there is. It does have many other advantages that we appreciated.Show More
