The hotel was decorated beautifully, so old school Hollywood but felt fresh and new at the same time. The pool was a highlight, the most beautiful swim I’ve had in years; especially at golden hour. The view of the hotel and palm trees from in the water was breathtaking. Room was gorgeous as well, so nicely decorated with retro style orange furniture (my favourite colour), was very classy without being boring.Show More

We enjoyed our first time so much, we decided to stay again, although we did enjoy our first go around more than this time. The pool area is beautiful, and we utilized this the most during our time. We also enjoyed the burger restaurant, on more than one occasion, second time due to the other restaurant (Shirely's) running out of half the menu by 9pm on a Saturday. I will note that as we were leaving the bell guy who came to get our luggage was incredible. He was engaging, talkative, and just a pleasure. He said that he had been working there forever, (tall guy, glasses, brown hair) I wish I could remember his name because he was a delight.Show More

Despite booking for three, we were given a tiny room for only two people. When we immediately requested a proper bed on the first night, the front desk responded with profound indifference and no solutions. This unacceptable apathy forced a paying guest—myself—to sleep on the hard, flat floor for three long nights, an act of blatant disrespect that did not concern the staff in the slightest. The ordeal continued when a full-blown, drunken party erupted next door. The chaos started around 10:00 PM, and more than two agonizing hours of noise passed between my first complaint and the party finally ending. Security was ineffective and slow to act. While the hotel's appearance may be spectacular, the management of basic guest issues is the worst I have ever encountered. Zero interest was shown in remedying a guest sleeping on the floor, nor did they swiftly control the two-hour noise disruption. Mandating a guest sleep on the floor and tolerating such disruptive behavior is a disgrace. We are a Sadly Disappointed Family. If you are considering this hotel alongside other options, choose the others. Put beds in the room for all paying guests!Show More

We stayed here for 3 nights and honestly I wished we were there for longer, upon arrival the valet staff were friendly and very welcoming! We arrived a little later than planned due to traffic but the reception staff were helpful and informed us our room had been upgraded to a pool room. Honestly cannot pick a fault with this hotel as the room was spotless, all basic wash products provided (very happy with the gypsy water toiletries!) and nice touch providing ear plugs if there is an event on at the pool which we didn’t have during our stay, but most of all every member of staff we met was friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The decor was fabulous, all very modern yet a nod to the hotels history was still apparent. I can’t review the hotel or bars as we didn’t have time to use these facilities but the area looked great! We did on the final evening have a tour from a lovely member of staff so was able to see Marilyn’s and Princes suite alongside other parts of the hotels history which was so fascinating! We had a great stay and hope to return in the future!Show More
