From the moment I checked in, the experience was welcoming. Ms. Ria, the Guest Host, provided a warm and highly professional reception. Her communication was extremely clear during the check-in process, which immediately made me feel comfortable and settled.My room was excellent—spacious, quiet, and impeccably clean. It provided a perfect retreat after a day of meetings.The shift from the standard buffet to the made-to-order breakfast service was a pleasant surprise. It felt special and personalized, elevating the start of the day. While I initially experienced some minor delays mid-week, the helpful leaflet advising on optimal breakfast timings allowed me to adjust my schedule effectively and plan my mornings better.The hotel's conference and meeting rooms were also very conducive to focused work. The dim lighting in these spaces offered an interesting and sophisticated vibe of mystique, which I found quite appealing for discussions. Overall, I had a fantastic experience. The high standard of service, particularly from individuals like Ms. Ria, and the comfort of the facilities make this hotel a top choice. The hotel is only a stone throw away from Baker Street station (great access to public tran...We loved everything about our stay at beautiful The Holmes Hotel in my favorite area in London (Marylebone). The hotel is only a stone throw away from Baker Street station (great access to public transport) and is right in the charming Chiltern Street (lovely cafés, small boutiques just down the street). Many major sights are also within easy walking distance (e.g., Regent's Park, Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus ...). The hotel itself is beautifully designed, full of little details that make it feel truly special (and I loved the scent). The lobby area offers plenty of inviting spaces to sit down and relax. Our room was a very good size and spotlessly clean — no city noise at all thanks to the well-insulated windows. We had Breakfast à la carte on one day and also used room service once during our stay - it was tasteful. What really made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single member of the team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. We celebrated a birthday during our stay, and the team went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable experience — something we’ve never encountered even in other five-star hotels we regularly stay at. We can wholeheartedly recommend The Holmes Hotel Marylebone and are already looking forward to our next visit. Truly a home away from home in the heart of London!Show More

I'd recommen...The Holmes hotel is a stylish hotel, all furnishing and fitting are top quality, rooms are quiet, comfortable and a decent size for London, there is a great bar area with friendly staff. I'd recommend the hotel, particularly as given the good location the price is not too steep. Just a couple of issues 1) main issue was over breakfast, which for two of our party of four came out quite cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen. When we mentioned this to the staff at reception they took off the price of the breakfasts, which was good, but really they shouldn't be sending out cold breakfast food. 2) we arrived back at the hotel about 11PM and we asked where the bar was as we fancied "one for the road" we were told at reception that it was shut. On the way to the room I heard people in the bar and went in to find it open and we had one final drink. Not sure why there is a discrepancy between the reception area and the bar on opening hours. Overall a good stay but there's a couple of things they should put right.Show More
